**** April 2019 mummies ****

Sorry girls had such a busy morning!
Everything is in the right place it's not ectopic thank god. I am only 5 plus 1 by my dates so they can see a sac and a yolk. She said everything is looking how it should for the dates. Can't see where the bleeding is coming from or anything to explain back pain but just to monitor. I am back next Thursday for another scan to see if there's a heartbeat and then then they can start me on clexane injections as I have a blood clotting disorder. I am so relieved but still early days and with the pain and spotting still I am not out of the woods just yet! Thank you for all the messages xxxx

That's great news! Very pleased for you. Hoping it all goes as well as that for me on Tuesday. I should be 6+5 by then but I'm not 100% sure when I ovulated so may be a little less. Hopefully this week will go by quick for us both!

That’s great news mummymoreton.

Welcome to the group crumble :)

Great news. Glad everything is looking right for your dates x

Anyone still getting AF type pains/cramps/niggles? Ive been getting some sharp pains very low down - I mean literally around my cervix, I get them when I’m pregnant and when I’m not pregnant, I get them up the bum aswel! Sorry for the crudeness there I’m not sure there is a polite way of describing that! it’s so strange, I might mention it to the midwife on Monday

How funny you said that i just had them a little while ago, like a sharp shooting pain?

Someone put about this in the ttc thread and someone did say its quite normal and described exactly what it was, so when i got in earlier i did think 'phew' its actually quite normal.

I keep missing this thread, so just had to go back a few pages to catch up with where everyone is <3

Ok, so one question, when do you think i will hear from a midwife? i assume its a midwife i will hear from?

I put in my requests last Friday and if anything its the oh getting impatient  i did say to him its usually within 2 weeks - am i right in saying that?

Would they call me also? Just want to be prepared if it is a phone call so i can make a quick dash out the office.

Yeah exactly like a sharp shooting pain, I think it must be something to do with changes to the cervix and is normal!

Great news mummymoreton!!
Welcome crumble!
It seems that everywhere is different IVW, I literally phoned my gp and the receptionist made me an appointment there and then, but other places seem to phone back. Sorry not much help! I’d phone them again early next week and ask if you haven’t heard anything.

It’s the weekend for me now! Hooray! My mum is visiting as I’ve got my first midwife appointment tomorrow and didn’t want to take my son!

Woke up with a terrible headache in the middle of the night last night which has lasted all day, don’t think i drank enough water yesterday as I was so busy and barely sat down all day, I’m reminding myself now that looking after myself and getting plenty of fluids and eating good food is more important then anything else right now!

I’ve got a busy weekend coming up with a meal and cocktails with a group of friends on sat then afternoon tea with prosecco with one of my oldest friends on Sunday, I’ve decided I’m going to turn up and say I’ve had a bad migraine last few days (partly true!) so I’m taking it easy - instead of saying oh I’m not drinking because.... as I know that will just immediately make everyone suspicious, so I’m going to go the bar on my own and get non alcoholic cocktails and with the afternoon tea just say to my friend she can have my prosecco cos of the migraine and just go to the bar and get something non alcoholic! I’m kind of looking forward to seeing whether I can pull this off or not!!

Could you phone your gp’s and ask for the telephone number to call them directly? Just say you can’t take phone calls during the day or something so a call back wouldn’t work for you

Where I am the phone number is on the website of my women’s hospital (Liverpool women’s hospital) you just call them and make an appointment over the phone x

I did think that would be the case, as in everywhere differs. I rang up my gp and the receptionist was a right arse and just grumbled what i needed to do and just hung up :wall2:

So if i heard him correctly i had to log mine with our main hospital where i downloaded some bits to read before we have the first appointment.

I have Raynauds syndrome and actually with the weather being cooler i am feeling it a lot more and when i was diagnosed i was told they would keep an extra eye on me when i fall pregnant - funny at the time as i laughed and said 'we are a while off from that happening yet' where has that time gone  so i am conscious of being seen asap really. I did of course put that in my notes.

shall i just call them tomorrow? so its a week after i 'registered'?x

I just been to the new surgery to register me an my family and the receptionist said as I am not on the system yet I need to contact the midwife between 1 pm and 3 pm. I will do it tomorrow. Because I am not English and I never been pregnant here I am so new to this. What will happen now? What the midwife will do??

Just spoke to my midwife centre this morning. I emailed them the details they needed and they are going to come back to me asap. I asked if I could get an appointment next week but she said 6 weeks is still early to see them so it won't be just yet. I have to be seen by 10 weeks and then the 12 week scan

Thank you everyone!
So relieved so hoping it will all continue as it should. They are seeing me next week and the consultant will prescribe my blood thinning injections but said I will be seen then by the midwife at 8 weeks for booking in appt. That seems to have changed since I was last pregnant they seen you at 1w when you had scan xxx

Inhale a hen doo on 31st so I will be doing the same as you. I am so bad at lying though haha Xx

Ha ha we can totally pull this off mummymoreton! If we just act normal and pretend there’s alcohol in our glasses we will get away with it xx

I got my first 'booking in' midwife appointment today. They rung me and gave me it. It's for 5th sept so I will be 8+6. She said anywhere between 8-10 weeks is normal and then 12 week scan. I think if your 6weeks and u still don't have an appointment that's nothing to worry about, I'm sure it will come through next week
