No scan date here either but midwife booking appointment is 12th spet so might find out more then. Can't wait til this first trimester is over,its all just worry and sickness!! X

In my last pregnancy the midwife called and booked it whilst I was at my booking in appointment. That was a couple of years ago though so it might have changed.

My booking appt is 12th too. Only a couple of weeks to go!

My booking appt is Thursday next week! I'm so excited for the coming weeks - this Wednesday I have my 8 week scan, then Thursday next week I have my booking appt, then Friday next week we head off to Paris for a week! And then about a week and a half after we get back on 26th Sept is my 12 week scan! It feels like it's becoming all very exciting! I said to OH this morning that I'm slightly worried for my scan this week but because I've been feeling so sick I'm going to take that as a good sign. I seem to remember being told that the nausea and sickness is caused by influx of pregnancy hormones and you only get those as the pregnancy progresses! So fx that it means all is well

Ooo I know what I was going to ask you all! Are you as obsessed with pregnancy apps as I am??? I have 7 different apps which I'm checking daily (not that there's much change daily!) I've attached a screenshot of the ones I'm using at the minute

I have the ovia and bounty one but haven't looked at them recently. Am holding out until after my scan and get proper dates x

I don't exactly feel sick just that anxious/ dread type of nausea. It's not nice.

I have sprout and thats it. Any apps particularly worth downloading??

I like the bump app - you get about 3 relevant daily articles to read & it tells you how big that embryo is (mine is the size of a pea). I have sprout to - I only really use that for the pictures, which I love!

I use ovia but might download a few others,I love reading how big baby is,mines a blueberry on ovia. Sickness is bad again today,now only eating foods that are easy to throw up lol x

After 2 days of feeling awful I feel pretty good today. Not sure if that's a good or bad sign. Feeling pretty hungry though x

I like the Ovia app because you can choose what you view your baby's size as. For example I've chosen 'fun and games' and at the minute baby is the size of a 2x2 lego brick!

I've felt really sick today. I'm taking it as a good sign. Not sure though if it's nausea due to worry about what tomorrow's scan will bring!

Oooo I like the sound of that Cossie! might have to have a look. I have my early scan tomorrow to, can't decide if I'm more excited or nervous!! Regardless definitely feeling nauseous! Hopefully it'll all be worth it! Good luck! X

I only have one app and its the Ovia one. I find it quite good and informative but as its American based sometimes some things dont really apply or are slightly different to how things are done here.

I read a lot of articles on Pinterest too.

Does anyone know if I will need a full bladder or an empty one tomorrow for my scan? I imagine it'll be an external scan as I'll be 8 weeks now

Hi Cossie,

I think it would still be an internal scan at 8 weeks, from what I was told today. In that case it would be an empty bladder.
