Anyone elses parents not going to be around?

My parents live in Essex so we only see each other twice a year, but they will be coming here as soon as they can when baby is born. We've invested in a video camera so we can send them dvds of baby.

my mum and dad were away when i had my 2nd baby 15 years ago, and they will be in america for my dads birthday when i have this one, my only sister will be in tailand also x x

dad lives 9 miles away but has disowned us for his new family

mum lives in australia so wont be around to meet baby for a while

My parents live in Australia but will be coming over a few weeks after the baby is born to stay for three months... But I would love them to be aorund all the time. My OH parents live 10 minutes away which will be supporting hopefully... but it is not the same as your own parents....

My parents live in Norway, and inlaws in the Canary islands.. so they won't be able to see our baby until at least a few weeks after he or she is born.. whenever they'll manage to get some time off from work to travel really..
