Anyone believe in "swaying"

Keep bumping into this online in the world of ttc... Is there really any evidence of this?

I’ve heard of it but don’t know if it works, I have heard a few people saying it’s been effective for them though so who knows

I don’t think there’s any real evidence behind it.

I’ve heard some people say it works, but then I suppose it will be right 50% of the time anyway so....

Some people believe that if you do certain things, eg time sex to a certain time of the month, or eat certain foods to promote a certain vaginal ph then you can sway whether you’re having a boy or a girl

Im with you i would be pleased just to be pregnant! But i wondered if any facts behind this, there are some crazy people out there.. one asking if now shes miscarried if she will have a stronger chance a girl , one saying low sperm count is good. Crazy

Research the Shettles method. A forum I was part of years ago had a huge following of belief in the above method. I did it with my girls and it worked both times......I have a boy and then 2 girls x

I’m currently trying to do the Shettles method, first month of trying but unsuccessful iv got 2 boys and would love a girl so trying this method but think it possibly might make it harder to conceive as you do it everyday up to 4-2 days before ovulation so you sort of have to predict ovulation and hope for the best you’ve done it at the right time. I know we conceived on day of ovulation with both my boys before so that comfirms what they say about boys. Xx

I personally would like to have a girl this time, but I definitely would be happy in any case and I do think that the only thing that matters if they are healthy. Also it is already so complicated like this I can't imagine making it even more hard

Do you know what i have learnt from all this ttc, i actually really dont care at all what sex i get, whereas before i was like GIRL GIRL GIRL but as you say Crumble, as long as they are healthy, that is all i care about and i genuinely mean that - i would be overjoyed with just a baby at this rate
