i used a free sample of palmers so got asda little angels been using it for a while and so far no major stretch mars anyone else use anything and does it work?

I use the palmers stretch mark lotion, no stretch marks so far but still a little early. I only use it on my belly and boobs and then regular lotion everywhere else, as cant afford to go through a £5 bottle of stetch mark lotion every week! lol!

Palmers didnt work on me :(

So today, I have swapped to bio oil, Ill see how that goes

I am not brand loyal

I started with bio oil
Moved onto Neal's Yard mother's massage oil
Then on to Neal's Yard Mother's Balm
Now onto Palmers Stretch Mark Butter

So far so good though :)

Hi Dear, Can you tell me where did you get Neals Yard Mother balm and oil..I have been looking at boots but could not fine one

I am only 13 weeks, but have been moisturising everyday, first with body shop cocoa butter and when that ran out i got the normal palmers moisturiser, i have been applying it to my tummy since week 6 or something so will see how i go and see if any marks develop as my bump grows.

i used coco butter all way through my first and the last week of pregnancy i got covered in stretch marks so ive started using rescue oil its a cheaper version of bio oil for my stretch marks seems to be doing great as i dont want to get worse ones when this baby comes, i got 40ml bottle of rescue oil in poundland for £1 seriously so worth it you can get it online too xx

I have a Neal's Yard store in Brighton, so bought from there. But you can buy their products online :)

I have rescue oil as well had it before as always had some silvery stretch marks which I REALLY dont mind its more the big red ones I am trying to avoid!

unfortunately if your the type to get them , you will get them, but the creams do help to ease the way of these nasty marks and minimise the damage a little and make them not so itchy when they do. Ask your mums if you can , if they got them, chances are - you will too, but they are a momento of what you did for your kids.

I tried palmers, and really thought it was working, buit I had a small bump till late and then grew so maybe it's best to get fat early in tri1 and grow slowly - perhaps that will help more than skini minis and get them in last 6 weeks.

I got some free aveno mositurisers and it's really not greasy, (don't think my skin would appriciate the bio oil much), and so I will be testing that this time

My mum bought me bio oil, but it's pretty pricey, so I use it every few days and other days use aloe vaseline lotion. From what I understand, you just need to keep your skin hydrated (or did I make that up?!)

JJ'S mum is right if your gonna get them you'll get them... Although my mum has had 5 kids and not one bloody stretchmark!! It all depends in your skin I think :( so unfair that we have to get them though!!!!

my best friends husband is a dermotoligist... he says that it doesnt matter if u use a 50 pound stretch mark cream or a £1 tub of value body lotion, the most important thing is keeping your skin moisturised. there is also no way of preventing stretch marks as if ur going to get them u will, even after birth to get rid of them still moisturising is key but once again it doesnt matter what u use xxx

Cool i am using asda little angels stretxh mark cram it was 24£2 it smells lovely x
