Any tips for morning, noon & night sickness?!

I know it sounds odd, but I wish I had some morning sickness. I have no symptoms which is scary! Makes me think my hormones aren't at the right level.

Hope yours get better soon the missy :) xxx

You dont want MS, it is awful- no exaggeration.

I was so depressed and ill with it and at times I honestly wonder how I could go through it all again.

Completely agree with you babyem - it was honestly one of the worst experiences of my life. 7 weeks of non stop sickness was so difficult to go through.

You really don't want it, trust me. Be glad u don't have it!

Never let the tummy tank get fully empty, the secret is really just to keep ontop of it, alwnays have something whatever it is in your tum, I think the acids in tum get out of hand if nothing is in there and make you feel sick. I had a tub of chopped arrots, sweet peppers, apple chunks, celery, grapes and little cubes of cheese, (I know it's fatty cheese, but its the secret ingreadiant for me, the protein seems to keep it going longer, and I just used to graze these all day. I also would try keeping food and drink seperate, give it 30 mins between either as the sloshing together caused me probs.

Good luck and congrats X

It was horrendous!! Having to go to hospital and get a whopping great jab which stung like an absolute bitch is not my idea of fun!! Not to mention the panic attacks I had each time I was sick, and couldn't breathe for them!!

I'm so glad to have food back in my life! x

Wow, some of you ladies have had it pretty rough! I'm lucky in that I'm managing not to throw up - just, but it's still horrid....

Sometimes eating helps and other times nothing seems to help. I think the worst thing is not knowing how long it will go on for. I mean, if I knew it would def be gone in a couple of weeks, I'd be a lot happier, but right now, it feels like I've been sick forever and I'm going to be sick forever! There is lots of moaning, grouchiness and poor me's going on, I can tell you....

Sending hugs to all your poor ladies suffering too and hugs to you all for sharing your stories....:hugs:ALL THIS CRAP WILL BE WORTH IT IN THE END!!! :) xxxxx

my fave, and most effective remedy was ....sparkling water with freshly squeezed lemon jouice (and lots of it!!!). If you are not a sparkling water fan, try still water. Make sure it is ice cold, with loads of the lemon!! I found the bitterness really helped the sickness and took away the horrible taste in my mouth at least for a while!!! xxx

That sounds really good hon - will be giving that try for sure, thanks :) xxxx

I'm struggling at the moment with sickness, over the weekend have started going dizzy and then throwing up. Have had to take a day off work today to try and rest but still was wretching this morning :( I can't remember what it feels like to feel normal!!

Aw, sorry honey - that sucks. I know what you mean - feel like I've been sick forever and it's never going to end. The one consolation is it means our beans are in there and sickness apparently is a good sign as it shows your hormones are strong. Not much comfort when you're feeling like poo, but we have to hang on to the positives.... we'll get through this and it will all be worthwhile :) xxx

sorry to hear your all feeling so poorly :-( I had terrible sickness from about 10 weeks in both my previous pregnancies and ended up in hospital on a drip both times. Was hoping not to be as ill this time but doesnt look as though thats going to happen lol! Ive had terrible nausea since Friday - travelling definately makes it worse - hubby has to drive everywhere atm while I sit with my head in a plastic bag (very attractive lol).
Eating small amounts and often seems to be helping me as it gets worse when Im hungry, trying to stick to the fruit bowl and not the biscuit tin though xx

I'm eating little and often too - having to get up about 4am every night to eat something too! Still, atm, doesn't seem to make much difference to the sickness at all - it's there all the time! I am definitely not getting my 5 a day right now, but at least I'm managing to eat! Really hope you have a better time of this time.... xxxxx
