Angelcare baby monitors

yep meeee

Ive got the original angel care one which is a movement and sound one, no temperature features or anything. £20 incl p&p. Not in original box but I can bubble wrap it and Ive got the instructions.

Or Ive got the tommee tippee ultimate movement and sound monitor which is also a nightlight and digital thermometer www.tommeetippee.co.uk/product/suresound_ultimate_monitor_/ its in its original box with instructions. £35 incl p&p.

I need the ones with the sensor mat and my mates Tommee Tippee ones buzz :(

yeah they both have the sensor mat. They do buzz and it drove me mental which is why we've gone through so many!! Wouldnt recommend these ones if you hate the buzzing. Are you using one now? They beep in the babies room so you could use the cheap movement one and not use the parents unit then just use a standard sound only monitor???

Otherwise Id recommend buying the new angelcare one, its sound activated so no buzzing, I couldve cried with joy when we got it! :)

The tommee tippee one doesnt beep if you turn the volume down, tool me a day to find that out.

what do you mean beep? like the alarm?

Vix I PM'ed Tiny. If you're not interested in the tomee tipee.

The breathing alarm bleeps but it can be turned down on the main unit so it just flashes.

oh yeah I never used the feature where it beeps with every breath. Who is their right mind could sleep through that??! :) It just switches off like you said, and I used to watch the little light flash with every breath until I fell asleep.

Ooooh I would really like one of these... Campbell has decided he is a tummy sleeper so this may help calm my nerves! Thing is he is in the same room as us. Would they keep us awake?

if you dont want the sound monitor feautre then you could just get a cheaper one. You can set the angelcare ones to 'tic' with every breath or just switch it off. The tommee tippee ones can beep with every breath but also optional so you can just switch it off. Other than that if youre not using the intercom its totally silent unless baby stops breathing then you know about it! Also you have to remember to turn it off when you lift him out of the cot or you'll get the fright of your life 20 seconds later when it hasnt detected any breathing and the alarm goes.

do you want my cheapo angecare one? not recommended for using the intercom as it buzzes. but if hes in your room you wont need to use the parent unit at all as the baby's unit will sound the alarm if he stops breathing. it would be silent if you used it like that unless the alarm sounds, and it will definately wake you up!
