Has anyone used one of these? I'm thinkin of buyin one just for piece of mind.

I love mine! I think I heard his heartbeat from around 13 weeks! If you get worried easily it may be worth not to as sometimes you can't find the heartbeat. Nowdays if I can't find it, I can hear a kick so I know he's fine. There is also no guarentee that you will find it before 16 weeks. I dont even think the angel sounds reccommends it until around 18 weeks but each to their own.

I've got one. It's great, think i was 15weeks when i got it and i heard the heartbeat pretty much straight away. You need to be patient when trying to find it as baby often moves to different positions but i normally find it within a couple of minutes. I only use it every week or 2, just for peace of mind. I got mine from Amazon, think it was £20-ish including delivery. xxx

well ive ordered one! not expecting to hear anything yet, but i will give it a go! they said you can sometimes hear the heartbeat from 10-12 weeks have a scan on wednesday anyway so will know all is ok then, and my 12wk scan on 9th august.

I have one and I heard it from just over 12 weeks. As a general rule of thumb, the further along u are the higher up the baby is. When I found the hb at first it was right down by the "hair" line. Now that a few weeks hve past it has moved up two or three inces. So start quite low down and do slow sweeping movements across the area xxx

I absolutely love mine!! I heard hb from just after 11 weeks you will be suprised at actually how low you have to go to hear it. I would def recommend but not to those nervous and anxious!!! Xx

i got one, the booklet says 9-12 weeks so im thinking it can work from 9 weeks onwards but mostly gonna be at 12 weeks that u will be able to hear things, will see how long it takes me lol, so far nothing definite but im sure theres something going on in there that i just cant pinpoint lol.

Well it arrived this morning! Gonna wait till I've had my dating scan early afternoon then give it a whirl. Don't wanna upset myself by not bein able to find the heartbeat n stress out! Will wait till I know all is well then at least I know if I don't find it it's cos baby is in an awkward position
