And then there were 2 :)

Oh bless her. Glad it went ok. At least that's another lot over and done with!!

Hope you get a decent night tonight hun x

I havent got a set bedtime for Lexi yet, i kinda just take her up when i go up, she was fed and asleep by 8pm last night and so i put her on the settee at the side of me! I stayed up to watch shameless so dream fed her downstairs at 10:30pm in hope of getting extra sleep tonight! Went up to bed at 11pm and lil legs woke at 1:15am for her first feed! She then woke at 2:45am, i tried the resting of the hand on her chest so she knew i was there but that didnt help, so i took her out of the cot and rocked her a little, but that didnt work...she just wanted feeding and who am i to deny her that so i fed her again! Shr then woke at 4:50am and lastly 6am so i suppose i cant moan too much, at least it wasnt hourly although i guess it wasnt far off

Lexi still seems fine after her jabs yesterday, miss happy pants this morning bless her :) Gonna mention to the HV when i see her about her pooing all the time though, she can go at least 4 times a day and i've been told by various people its a sign that the milk is going straight through her now and they usually suggest weaning when this happens although i think shes still to young for that anyway so it will be interesting to see what the HV suggests!

Just been telling Elise off and had to try and stop my self from flaming laughing because Lexi is sat there in her swing smiling her head off at me  talk about trying to be serious and show Elise an example etc! Kids eh

Personally hun i would take her off SMA all together sounds like she isn't getting on with it right as extra Hungary is suppose to stay put and be slower to come through x swear since i had Leo what ever they have done to the milk it isn't agreeing with many babies now x

she seems happy on it, its just the pooing, i'll see what the hv says, shes due out 1st october for that extra weigh in for little fatty :) hehe xx

Elliott goes twice a day. When i was breast feeding his arse was raw as he poo.ed every time i fed him haha and then after it was treble butt change every feed. I went through a full packet of nappies in one day i was like wow.

I'll see what the hv says when she comes out, not long to go now! She only did 2 poo's yesterday and one was quite small...but rather green...yuk!!! lol

Well we didnt do bad last night to start with sleep wise! So i've started stocking up on some baby food bits for when i start the weaning process! Last night missus wouldnt have her milk, she didnt want water, was fidgety, her nappy was clean...everything was as it should be, so i though bugger it, i'll try her with a bit of baby food and OMG she wolfed it down and was the happiest baby ever afterwards, got laid on the sofa and went straight to sleep, this was at 8:15pm! We went up to bed at 9:45pm and i did think about dream feeding her but thought sod it, i'll just get up when she wakes, well...she didnt wake while 1:10am  5 hours sleep barring 5 minutes...thats the first time ever shes gone 5hrs solid...well apart from when she was first born and went all night  she then woke at 2:40am, 4:40am and lastly 5:40am but she was wide awake after this feed so i put her light show on in her bedroom and she laid quietly in her cot until i got up at 6:30am so she didnt do too bad last night and with her having the 5hr stint i felt like i actually got a decent sleep :yay: I know its naughty of me trying her with baby food so early, but i really think shes ready for it, especially with her wolfing it down, it was like she has always eaten off of a spoon etc bless!! And she bloody loved it! Not going to make it a regular occurance, not while shes 4mnth anyway, maybe just when she behaves how she did last night, i dunno, i'll see!!

Friday at last too :yay: although its a bit crappy, we were expecting to get paid today but seems its gonna be Monday now, but never mind, i just like the weekend and spending time with my little family!
Looking forward to our night out too although OH keeps having a moan about how he is going to cope with Lexi on his own...well maybe if he had more input and more to do with her he might not feel that way, looks like tough love and dumping her on him one day this weekend so he can get used to having her on his own!

Aww hope he feels better soon hun, not nice when they are ill, you cant seem to settle yourself can you!

And thanks hun, i felt bad in a funny sort of way for trying her with it, but like i said, she wolfed it down, ate the lot and then slept like a dream afterwards, think shes deffo ready for food bless her!

Super impressed with my moo this morning :D yesterday she napped ok-ish, got to tea time and she was ever so whingy, milk/nappy change/winding...nothing was helping, i rocked her to sleep and she woke up half hour later all whingy again! So come 7:30 i gave her some baby food! She wolfed it down once again, had 2oz of milk had some awake time talking to the telly and doing sit ups  and by 8:40pm was fast on on the sofa! OH and I went to bed at 11pm and little lady woke at 1:30am  didnt expect that and didnt expect what followed....waking for her next feed at 4:30am...double fricken shock!!!!! went a bit cruddy after that like, was 5:30am with her not going back down to sleep so i left her with her musical light show on for half hour but she wasnt settling, a little more bottle and she was asleep again until 7am so not a bad night at all, super proud...maybe weaning is what she needs, its obviously doing her some good sleep wise, maybe the milk just isnt filling her on its own!

And another shock this morning...OH's wage is due 24th (Monday) worked money out the other day and i was gutted as it seems we have a shite month again plus i'm supposed to be going out and i wanted a new outfit etc! I've been checking the bank since early friday morning as we were expecting it to go in early, usually payments due in on a Monday go in friday or saturday! Checked the bank this morning, £422 gone in, now we know its not OH's wage (well we bloody hope not anyway or else we are shagged) and i've noticed loadsa people getting money back from tax creds so i'm thinking thats what it is! Ohhh i sooooooo hope so as it will sort us out for this month and get us out of this crappy pit we are in, talk about vicious circle! And i can get my new outfit after all :D gonna ring the bank when it opens and see what it is before i start spending

Cool glad to hear hun i might try Elliott with some baby rice soon not braving food just yet had let him have licks of things gave him a lick of baked potato as it was very runny he wasn't too keen on it he likes chocolate though and ice cream x

Thats what i had been doing with Lexi before i tried her with the baby food, every time i had tea she would lay there kicking her legs getting excited so i dipped her dummy in say for instance my bean juice or gravy etc in a way also hoping she would take the dummy lol, but no such luck! Lexi wasnt kean on mash either lol! although she loved my custard last night

So for a couple of nights now Lexi has gone for long periods of time between feeds which has been bliss! Yesterday she napped ok again, came to the late afternoon/early evening and she was very restless, every time she fell to sleep she would wake easily and be quite grumpy! At around 7:30pm i tried her with some baby food, she had a few spoon and had some bottle, but as done in previous nights, didnt go straight to sleep, when she finally did go to sleep at 8:30pm she woke again at 9pm and was just so restless! She finally fell into a proper deep sleep at 9:50pm and i took us up to bed at 10:30pm i was expecting a bad night tbh but nope...she woke for the first feed at 1:25am then woke again at 4:35am and lastly 6:45am...she was deffo ready to get up by that time :) so i am one happy mummy, for 3 nights now she seems to have woke around 1:30am and 4:30am...i'm getting the whiff of a routine coming along here...and i bet now i've said that she will wake every hour tonight now
At least i'm beginning to feel a little more normal for gettin more sleep! I have no idea why shes decided to sleep longer, she even feeds for longer at night, taking 3-4oz now :yay: its deffo been a long time coming!

Had the worst day yesterday too, after getting all excited about £422 going into the bank and planning on spending some on a new outfit yesterday, i rung the bank to find out where it had come from first and its Jamies wage  not goo when he gets just short of £1000, they have majorly messed up somehow and i was more peeved as we couldnt ring em with it been saturday so we have to just wait until Monday! We have bills to pay and everything, i can see my night out slowly slipping away! So after this blow, Elise was being so naughty, properly back chatting and been a lttle madam! So she got sent to her room and just seemed to be getting told off all day long! And then to top off my awesome day my brother and his OH pissed me off! a few month ago they got new garden furniture and asked us if we wanted theirs and we said yes, when we went for the BBQ the other week i brought it up and got "Oh, we've given them to Jades mum, they would probably only get nicked at yours anyway" bearing in mind Jades mum lives in a rougher part of town than us! So last weekend they got new wardrobes and asked "do you want these" to which i replied "Oooh yes, i need wardrobes i'll have em" Jade said she would ask her dad to pop them up for me! Cue me waiting on hearing something...viewed facebook last night to see a status from Jade "got a problem, got 2 wardrobes here need gone asap as i have boiler men coming out to service the boiler tomorrow!" her cousin replied saying she would have them and it was all agreed there and then in black and white, then Jade text me and said "i hope you dont mind our Leighs gonna have the wardrobes as i need them gone" blah blah blah so i said "oh no, i really could of done with one at least, looks like i'll just have to save up at some point" and this is the part that really got me...she then replied "oh never, my mum must of mentioned it to our Leigh cos she text asking if she could have them" NO SHE FECKING DIDNT...YOU BROADCAST IT ON FECKING FACEBOOK YOU SILLY TWAT!!!!!!!! aargh so angry how she could of lied as if i didnt see her stupid status!!! so yes...yesterday was just shit!

Yesterday, all Elexis did was sleep, usually she has an hours sleep when she naps through the day! We literally got up Sunday morning, she had a bottle, within half hour fell back to sleep, woke around 11:45am, then we went to asda about 12:30 dinner time and she fell to sleep in the pram and didnt wake up while just after 3pm, had a whingy hour, another bottle and back to sleep until 7:30pm, tried her with some baby food, she had a couple of spoons, had her bottle and straight back off, decided to dream feed her at 9:30pm before bed so that i could get a decent few hours in before her first feed and then we went to bed at 9:40pm! Little legs woke for her first feed at 12:30am which was an hour earlier than previous nights, i still hoped she would go 3 hours until her next feed...no such luck, she then woke at 2:30am, 3:40am, 4:45am, 5:10am and lastly 6:10am :wall: thought we were getting somewhere with her finally...seems not, unless it was just because she slept loads through the day, god knows but today i'm making sure the little bugger wakes every 2hrs, see if that does the trick!

Jamies checked the bank today to see if his "real" wage has gone in and it hasnt so now we know the £422 is deffo what he has been paid, he's gonna go ape with em at work today, said if they dont sort it he's walking...not what we need, not with christmas fast approaching and what not!! hope they sort it asap, we cant live on £422, we have bills going out very soon, rent, council tax, tv licence, all the important things, this weekend has really tested me tbh to the point of nearly breaking down, cried a fair few times in secret, everything that could of gone wrong did go wrong and Elise has been a proper little shit the whole time! Elexis has been super whiney...its just been awful, glad the weekends gone!

I know its not fair hun. Stupid thing is you will probably be better off on benefits. They really don't make it easy. That's why my partner struggles to keep jobs as they mess his pay up and he goes mental they don't fix it so he leaves. Sad circle really if they paid you right you would work better and happier x

This is whats annoying me more than anything, i could understand it of he was a new employee, they always seem to get those first few pays wrong or late, but he's been there for over a year now, they shouldnt be making stupid f**k up's like this so late into his employment, i'm so fricken angry with em! Told him to lay it on n tell em were gonna get bank charges now and if they dont sort it by wednesday LO cant go on her school trip, proper guilt trip the twats!

xx

Sounds like lexi got in loads of sleep yesterday during the day, which hopefully was the reason behind her sleeping bad at night! Fx for a better day and night today.

What baby food are u giving her? Isn't it quite early? Not sure how old she is now. But if it is helping her settle at night that's amazing, lil hungry monkey :D lol

Can't believe ur oh's wages are so mucked around. It sucks when they do that, I was down £200 odd one month recently and I got asked if I could wait til the next month to be paid it  I was like, no transfer it into my bank account now!!! Surely they should understand the need for the money for bills and food!! Hope u can get it sorted xx

i hope so too hun!!

Lexi is just over 3 month old, she has some sunshine banana cereal in for ages 4mnth plus and a jar of egg custard for 4mnths plus which she absolutely loves! theres no lumps in them, just very runny food  she is still quite young but she just seemed ready especially the other night when she was fussy then wolfed down the baby food and was happy as larry. i personally think you know when your childs ready...Elise for instance never seemed interested in our food and even when i could start weaning at 4months she wasnt over interested and gipped every time i tried to give her anything! I'm only giving Lexi a little at night time, some times she will eat the lot (all 6 spoons of it haha) and other times she will only have a couple of spoons before the face pulling begins! Thats when we quit and go for the bottle, kinda just going at her pace really and introducing her to it rather than making it a set breakfast/dinner/tea thing :)

And yes, totally nobbed off with OH's wage! I've to ring him in 5 minutes to see whats happening with it! I thought they might try the "we cant pay it now until next month" thing, but ive told OH he has to give it to em both barrels and guilt trip em with LO's school trip etc! fingers crossed they sort it this week otherwise we are well and truly on our arses!

xx
