Had a fab day (and night) yesterday at the BBQ...drunk far too much beer for my liking and didnt get home while 01;00am so i was hoping that my mini miss would have her first 4 hour stint as soon as i got her to bed but nope, we went up to bed at 01:20 and she woke at 01:45am, then 04:30am, 05:40am and then 07:55am! one day we will get there with a nice sleeping pattern!

Think the kids had fun yesterday though, was lovely having a nice family BBQ, even went across to the park at one point like bloody youths with a can a piece and sat on the grass in the sun while Elise played, got Lexi laid out on the grass with her little chunks wriggling about in the breeze! She was chattering away to everyone, she even said "mama" twice in the space of a couple of minutes ;) hmmmm was it a fluke or has my brain washing and constant "mamamamamamama" in her face finally paid off  was good though! Needless to say Elise is still in bed at nearly 9am which is a first for her

missus in her car seat at the park before she got chilled on the grass with us!

seems doing something different through the day does have an impact on Lexi's sleeping habits at night as we stayed in yesterday, did usual sunday laziness and had a good night! She fell asleep at 9:20pm i took her up to bed at 9:50pm and she woke for her first feed at 1:20am, then 03:50am and 06:20am :D so i felt like i had a super sleep last night and it was bliss!

First full week of school runs this week too :) Elise is really enjoying year 1 so far, lots more learning and less play which she did say isnt fair as all they do is write lol, sure she will get used to it though!

The diet also went well and truly out the window this weekend, got weighed and back up to 11 stone 10 grrr!!! But i shant let it get to me, last blow out of the summer seen as though the weatherman said its gonna start feeling more autumna weather wisel! Got a mega walk planned for tomorrow which involves a very long steep hill so thats should burn off some fat especially pushing the pram up there with our chunk in ;) hehe!

Another good night from my little Moo...fell asleep around 8:45pm ish, went up to bed at 9:40pm and expected her to wake not long after for a feed as usually she goes to sleep at around 9:30pm but nope, she woke at 11:55pm, then 03:10am and lastly 06;00am which is not long before i get up anyway, so in theory only twice and the midnight feed wasnt so bad either :D well done Elexis :yay: hope she keeps this up now

Totally random now...but i'm so looking forward to Christmas...the weather has turned here, dark this morning when i got up and rainy, just makes me think of winter and all the fun exciting events i have to look forward to :D really ought to make a start on Christmas tbh...havent got one single thing yet!

Also didnt stick much to the diet yesterday, havent gained or lost though when i got weighed this morning...its hard to diet though when i cant get my kinda food in with us been skint! Might just start again when we get paid and do it right! Hate been skint n just wanna comfort eat to make me feel better grrr!!!

xx

tbh, i think exercise would be more beneficial to me but its finding time to do it when i've got Lexi! Gonna have to find a night time gym buddy i think!

xx

Grr wish my little Moo would get into some sort of routine!! So yesterday night we managed 3hourly more or less...last night was totally different! Firstly i didnt get her to sleep while late on, she was quite grumpy then had a nice green poo around 9 ish got her to sleep at 9:40 and was up in bed by 9:50pm, she woke for her first feed at 12:30am then 2am, 04:40am and 06;05am! Just brought her downstairs and shes still fast on in her swing! I on the other hand is feeling a tad tired this morning and could quite easily go back to bed  The little poo head she is!

Must ring the doctors tomorrow...little miss is finally 12 weeks old tomorrow and so i need to re book that smear...oh the joys! Must ring the dentist too...i've been putting it off for ages now, should have had a filling replaced when i was 32wks preggo (or there abouts) but cancelled it as i didnt fancy lying there with the big preggo belly, re booked for the beginning of August but they wrote to me to say they had to cancel that one and that i had to ring them to arrange another appointment...oooopsies!

Elise has got out of bed the wrong side this morning...i was in quite a good mood, woke her up in a nice cheery manner and asked nicely for her help carrying the bottles downstairs! She asked what time it was, told her 6:30am she started moaning that we get up at 7am not half 6 and i said noooo we always get up at half 6 and that was it, stomping her foot, lip out and having a go, cue mummy now in a shitty ares mood thanks to my daughter! Dear me...sure 5yr olds are worse than teenagers, they have to be, teenagers cant possibly be harder work than this...surely????

xx

Hugs hun all i can say is you may have it easier later on once weaned etc. Elliott may decide not to sleep soon x

Only a few more weeks till we can wean yay lol. Elliott looks at me moaning x just like Leo had to join in when he was that age x

Fingers crossed haha! Yeah our Lexi gets all giddy when she sees me eating, the arms and legs start flailing around and she gets a big silly grin on her little chubby face! Cant wait to start weaning, she is soooo ready for it...not long to wait now though :)

xx

:yay: we had a decent night!! Took missus up to bed at 10:10pm still awake! I laid her in her moses basket and left her a little while to see if she would settle herself without a bottle. Ended up feeding her at 5 minutes later as she started whining on the verge of crying! She was asleep by 10:25 yet woke for some more bottle at 10:35 as she only took an oz, after this feed she settled straight away and didnt wake until 2:30am and then again at 5:10am! I got up at 6:15 with both my little miss's still asleep then my Moo woke with mega smiles at 6:45am :D So yeah, not a bad night at all apart from getting her to sleep in the first place

I've noticed she seems to be going a bit longer between feeds too, take yesterday for instance, i fed her around 8:10am before we set off to school, got home and plonked her on the sofa while i pottered round the living room giving it a quick tidy round as mum was coming for a coffee, she laid there all content, mum arrived around 9:30 and little miss still laid there happily, finally she fell asleep and didnt wake up while 10:30 ish, usually after the school run shes wanting more bottle!

xx

Had a chuckle last night, i bathed Lexi in the big bath, she loves it in there although she does tend to try and eat the bubbles! When she was bathed i took her into her room and laid her on a towel in her cot to get her dried, i put talc on her bum and as i was just putting the talc bottle down she farted and blew a talc cloud from in between her butt cheeks  thats ma girl...proper jackass material that, i was in stitches  Anyways after her bath she was nice and sleepy...but tbh i would rather her be nice and sleepy when its time for my bed! She slept most the night by 9:30pm i thought i'd retire to bed, and just as i was gonna pick her up she woke, grr!! So i took us up to bed and fed her, popped her down in her moses basket asleep and got my head down all by 9:40pm, she woke at 11:35, 2:40am, 5am and 6:10am so she didnt do brill but she didnt do crap either...pretty average night i guess!

Hope i get to report on more developments soon, feel like my journals all about her sleeping patterns at the mo...which i guess really it is! She does babble like hell now, in fact i can hold a pretty good goo goo gaga convo with her for quite a while...on several occasions its sounded like she has said "maaaama" but that may just be fluke...either that or me and mum have brain washed her with it ;)
She's not too kean on tummy time either, keep putting her on her tummy to encourage her to lift her head and eventually roll but shes more bothered about trying to eat whatever shes laid on then gets pissed off because she cant eat it  deary me!! One good thing...after a feed i can just lay her down on the sofa awake and she drops off to sleep by herself with no dummy or anything, used to have to rock Elise so this is a nice change :)

Diets gone to pot...shall start that again when we get paid...but for now, i'm enjoying all things naughty, milk choccy cookies, toffee icecream, crumpets with loadsa butter...mmmmmmm :D yummy!

I aint got a foggiest how we did sleep wise last night as my phone died (i input feed times etc into that as sleep deprivation does nothing for my memory  lol) I'm guessing it was pretty shabby tbh as little miss slept all day and night and judging by how often i seemed to be waking and how many bottles shes got through this morning i think its safe to say she probably went every hour and half ish! Fabby! Gonna see mum today, see if she fancies going halves on the monitors which i'm still waiting for and see how missy goes in her cot, maybe pop her up there around 9 and give it a go! It seems not many people stick to keeping baby in mums room while 6 months, not even in soap land  all fantasy i know but tyrone and kirsty keeping their newborn upstairs :eh: i'd rather not...not that young anyway, i think now shes knocking on 13 weeks we can make a start on getting her used to her own room and then fingers crossed when shes on solids and is used to her bigger more roomier bed, she might sleep through, haaa wishful thinking i know...i can dream ;)

xx

:yay: Lexi had a proper laugh earlier, shes been doing a bit of a laugh for a couple of weeks now but hasnt had a proper giggle until today, i was playing silly with her grabbing her hands, puffing my cheeks out then making her deflate them with her hands and she was in hysterics...loved it

That is all :)

Deedee this had me in stitches!!!!! So funny.

Been reading about your dieting attempts. How's it going? I joined weight watches last week. Have actually out weight on since Meri was born. Was so nice to eat without being sick!! Only have a stone of pregnancy weight to lose but considering I was overweight to start with I need to get cracking. Lol. First week has gone ok so far. Maybe we can spur each other on!!!

Haha, i was in stitches when it happened too...the little farty pants she is

Well the diet went to plan for the first 2 weeks and i lost loads, but this last week we have been super skint and we havent been able to get my healthy stuff in as well as normal stuff for OH and Elise so i've been eating normally and put weight back on, up to 11 stone 9 now grr, but i will be starting again when OH gets paid so we will deffo spur each other on and get skinny together :)

Hows motherhood anyway? You enjoying it? i'm just so bloody tired, doesnt help when Elise has started been a proper pain in the bum lately...anyone would think she was 15 not 5

Tired doesnt even come close this morning  So yesterday we decided to finally get the baby monitors as i saw some motorola video ones in argos for £44.99 reduced from £89.99...bargain if you ask me so i decided there and then that i would try little miss in her own room in the cot! I popped all her familiar moses basket blankets in there, raised the mattress a little all so that it would feel similar to the moses basket etc! She fell asleep sometime after 9:30 so i took her up and she was fine, didnt flinch or anything...she woke for her first feed at 1:20am which again was pretty good although such a killer when your knackered having to get out of bed rather than just reaching over and grabbing her! After this feed i lost track of time as she was just waking so often, by 3:40am i had fed her 4 times and then i noticed she was waking every hour  went into her at 6am and her babygro was wet...the nappy has leaked...so i thought bugger it, so now were downstairs, missus has been changed, nappy and clothes wise chillin on the sofa with me by her side praying she goes to bloody sleep so i can catch 40 winks, cant keep my eyes open!! Still gonna persisit, like i've said before if theres change she sleeps poorly and last night Jamie went to watch rugby so my mate came round for a glass of wine or 2  which is out of the ordinary for Lexi so maybe thats thrown her out of sync! Fingers are firmly crossed that the little mite has a better night tonight...pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!

On a plus note, the monitors are fab, charged the parent unit downstairs yesterday, OH went into Lexi's bedroom to iron some clothes for rugby and i saw him throwing my very neat folded ironing pile into the cot, cue me talking through the monitor "you better tidy those clothes up when your done shit head" haha OH had forgot the camera was in there hehe! Oooh what fun i could have with these ;)

Haha, it's like the voice from above telling him off, love it! :) I put Max in his own room around 12 weeks and have never looked back. I really missed him being next to me but we've both slept so much better since he's been in his own cot and he loves all the room.

I'm also trying my best to eat healthily but it can depend on how Max is as if he has a day where he wants to feed constantly I just have to grab snacks, not great but hey ho, the joys of being a mummy :) My main aim is to tone up so am pounding the pavements with Max in the buggy. It also means he has a decent nap each day so a win win xxx
