It's meant to be really good to regulate cycles and help with mood swings. Don't think it's that great to take if your cycles are already clock work though xx

Thank you :) my last cycle has been really up the left to the point i believed af just wasnt even going to arrive and was ready to just skip a month. It finally arrived 2 days ago so maybe i should leave it for this cycle and if its irregular again take it to see if i can straighten out again xxx

I tired it one cycle even tho I am regular but it my cycle was really long and was worried it was that. I don't have much to add other than that.

Most people say to use it for the first half of your cycle until you ovulate.
Alot of women swear by it, I have conceived using it but so far only chemicals.
Worth a try xxx

Hey Laura, I've been taking 800mg of Vitex Agnus Castus each morning for a few weeks now to try and regulate my hormones. It's not done much yet but it does take a couple of months to see an effect so I'll continue with it. Although it says not to be used when TTC, it's a natural herb so really can't be that bad! Unless you have a very regular cycle, I'd say just go for it. I read a really interesting article about Vitex which helped me a lot...might be worth a read. I can't post a link but it's on the natural fertility info website under 'vitex'

I've never tried agnus castus but I've always had regular periods. I'd also read it was for regulating cycles for those who are irregular. I think I'd be reluctant to mess with my cycles if they're already regular. A friend of mine who is also struggling TTC (she had PCOS) would give her right arm for regular cycles!! That's just my thoughts of course. Good luck!!
