Hi ladies

Please could I ask your advice??

So today I had my endo scratch today and bloods to see if I have ovulated this month. My progesterone was 27.5 (they want 30 or above for ovulation) so I am borderline!! The nurse asked the consultant and he said still go for a natural FET. I am really pleased because we would of had to wait another month for a medicated cycle but I worry that my lining won't be thick enough if my progesterone is not high enough.....

We don't want to waste our precious embryos, they are the experts but instead of feeling excited I feel nervous and worried...

Has anyone got any thoughts or experiences with low progesterone but a bfp ?
I told the nurse my concern and she said she would ask about extra meds to thicken my lining...

Lou x

Hi Lou, I am not sure of my progesterone levels..need to ask next time I am at the clinic but my lining is never great. Before my last cycle of ivf (short protocol) my lining wasn't that thick on day of ec and so they prescribed progesterone and oestrogen but I still wasn't convinced. I had had a fet cycle last July without medication and it didn't take so I am convinced it has something to do with my lining. This next fet (hopefully September) I will be asking for my lining to be checked on the run up to the transfer and asking for progesterone if needed.

I have also looked into other things that I can do to thicken lining like raspberry leaf tea, vitamin E and b complex etc

If you are concerned please keep asking and request to speak to your consultant about it. I know how you feel about wanting the best chance for your frostie!! Good luck!!! Xx

Thanks Hun xx noticed u r from a similar area to me, just wondered who ur consultant was?

I think we know our bodies best so they should listen to us more!! Xx

We are a bit odd because we go to arrow park on the Wirral for most of the treatment but for ivf we go to the women's! So our consultant is Dr ellard x
