My LO has just turned 5 months and for the last few days she will make this involuntary shiver/shudder movement. Usually just once and will make a noise whilst doing this.

Not sure what this could be?

Could it just be when shes doing a wee?

I did think that Robyner but then thought would she not shudder more often? I'm not concerned just trying to work it out.

My lo used to do this too every now and again and I think like Robyner said it was when she felt herself weeing. She didn't do it all the time but even now when she does a wee on the toilet she'll sometimes shiver and sometimes not.xx

My 7 month old does this, I assume it's when she's having a wee too

I've seen my LO do this too x

It's something they do when they are aware they are weeing. It's good :) xxx

Thank you all. It is very cute when she does it :)

Yep. My LG does this sometimes when she wees.

Wouldn't worry. Keep an eye on temperature ladies though as shivering is a baby's way of controlling their temperature. My lo had a wee infection at 12 weeks and had spikes in temperature resulting in some shivering and shaking as a result of the infection. just been for her scan today and kidneys etc all clear although suspect another infection as wee is smelling beefy! Another sample dropped in at the docs. A little off topic but something to look out for
