had such a fright this morning at 2am.
got woken up by alex's movement alarm sounding. ran in his room shouing his name and he was totally fine! the alarm is meant to stop if he moves again and just flash a light so you know its happened. he was wriggling when i went in and it was still going.
he was sideways right at the bottom of his cot so i think he was just too far away from the pad. he was pink, breathing, warm and wriggly so i dont hink he actually stopped breathing or anything. we did have a couple of false alarms a few months ago where he had moved too far away from the pad but the alarm cut off after a second as the noise made him jump and i think he did a bigger movement the pad could detect.
such a scare though! you send the next hour staring at the little blinky light on the monitor just in case.
poor love he was still asleep after the alarm going off, his parents crashing into his room shouting, the light going on and me grabbing him and moving him back up his cot. just snuggled back down and sighed a bit!!
