Hey we are planning to pick up a gift for our little girl from our new baby - she loves Bing so will mosey on over to argos later and see if there is something nice. Is anyone else doing anything similar? What are your ideas ....

We have done the same hun! Just a small gift bag with a fairies magazine, classic story book, masha and the bear teddy and some chocs!

My daughter also loves Bing! X

I've got a big sister balloon and some wrapped up toy cars from baby for Jess. Not much but just a little parcel and excitement for her. I've done a little bit of reading up on introducing new sibling, and if possible, we'll introduce him lying in his cot rather than me or hubby holding him.

Funny you should say that - that is how I imagine Cora meeting her little sister too, looking over the cot nice idea with a balloon too I might copy - I think she will be ok she has been excitedly talking about her, even to the peeps at nursery - they asked if she had been born yet as Cora has been chatting about her a lot sweet.

I managed to get the last talking Bing in stock a few mins ago - chuffed about that

We have a bag of goodies for baby to give to her. I'll pack it in my case.
It's a big sister t-shirt, and a handmade dolly that his big sister piper embroidered on the front. We have also bought her a big bean cushion to sit and lye on the floor when baby comes home so she can be near to her.

People film everything wedding proposals, sibling intos even pregnancies.

I originally planned on getting the bing for my son for Christmas but wondered if it would make a nice gift from baby...

My son had been asking for this lego train for agessss. His birthday and christmas are close together and also quite a bit away so i thought itd be a good idea to hold off and to give him it from his little sister. He absolutely loved him i dont think iv ever seen him so happy and excited hahaha. He was showing everyone telling them his little sister got him it.. so cute!!

My son bought a Build a Bear for the baby and we got a matching one that baby gave to him too. My Mum embroidered 'Big Brother' and 'Little Sister' on some plain tshirts for the bears. He had clothes, nappies, boxers etc as well as a bear carrier and blue doll's pushchair so he can be like Mummy
It acts as his own Mini Me (he's even got matching school uniform!) We also got him a big brother balloon and card.
We need to do the same again when this new one comes along! x
