* 5 months TTC- We're only young*

Well I know I shouldn't really be in this section but it is getting to me now me and OH have been TTC for 5 months now and no luck so far

I came of cerazette contraceptive pill in October 2009 as we decided to start TTC , anyway we have been trying ever since then and no luck , we are still young only 19 ( me just turned) so I don't see what the problem is.

It annoys me the fact I have been on Implannon for 9 months before the pill Jan-oct then Cerazette for only 2 weeks!!!! :O to make sure I didn't fall pregnant and no we want to get pregnant we cant!

any tips on helping our fertility ?

I came off the pill in September 09 and concieved in jan. One of my friends didn't concieve for a year after coming of her contraception so don't worry too much, just enjoy trying! Lmao

It took me ages to concieve my little boy and I was convinced I couldn't have any, it's really true when people say the more you think about it the more it won't happened, I got obsessed with it ( not good) 5 months is not a long time chick, one of my friends has been trying since she was about 24 and she's now 34 one of my other friends decided she wanted a baby and the next month she was pregnant!! It took me 7 months this time when I stopped thinking about it all the time stopped buying pregnancy tests just for the sake of it and typing, how do I get pregnant into google all the time, it will happen hunni don't you worry no matter what contraception you were using, just go with the flow xxx

my best advice would be buy an opk and then relax a bit 5 months isnt long but when it not working it feels like a lifetime keep trying im sure your get there

I have used Opk's Got a faint line on 3 of them!!! but AF was due today and hasn't come but i cant even imagine a iykwim x

A normal healthy couple still only has 25% of conceiving each month. Just relax! It will come xx

The best you can do right now is to look after yourself and try to relax I think. It's so hard to though. I know if or when it gets to 5 months for me I too will be very stressed, I'm only young myself too. I have been off contraception for 2 years and was worrying about that having an effect, but if you are OVing then you should be back to normal I think.

I know I was reading about that on the internet today

AF was due today and hasn't come so this may be my month hopefully thank god, another thing that has become really bad the past thortnight is my IBS I have been in agony with it feels like a double decker bus sideways ( sorry for the way i described it ) but it really is painful.

I have been drinking lots of Cranberry juice and everything to keep my prone UTI'S away and to help me go to the toilet but it only seems to have worked on the UTI bit

How old are you if you dont mind me asking ? x

Hey huni, we're in our 3 mths of trying and it feels like forever, so i can totally sympathise with the fact that 5 mths feels like forever for u hun. It will happen i guess it's just a matter of when. I'm due AF on 1st march (my bday is the blimmin 4th! ) xx

I hope you get your BFP soon it seems like ive been trying for about 10 years ( obviously not though as i would have only been 9 ) Now that would have been a article for the papers hehe.

I really hope we do get our bfp this month otherwise i'm gonna start wondering why it's taken so long lol! I have 2 other children. I was 19 when i conceived my little man and i did it in a month, it took 6 mths for my little princess and now, at 25, i can't seem to do it.
I wasn't on any contraception babe, just condoms xx

oh okay , i dont know then hun you should be fine then if you have conceived 2 already I wouldnt be as bothered as i am if i already had children ( and i dont mean that nasty to you btw ) but it's only my first im TTC and i just can't wait to be a mum , I know people say I'm scared for labour but seriously i cant wait for the day that it happens!! then atleast I know i have got a ikkle baby :'( xx

No no it's ok hun i understand. My circumstances of how both my children were brought into this world were different to many in respect to the relationship i was in, and this time i'd like very much for a baby with someone very special who loves me as much as i love him etc. It's ironic, whilst i have two children, it's also new to me when it comes to the whole supportive partner, and both being excited about it etc. I've not got to go through it alone this time or be made to feel ashamed of being pregnant, by the father. This pregnancy will be different in that respect. I'm very proud of my two beautiful children and i know i am very lucky to have them. They mean the world to me and they are the most precious people in my life. Being a mummy is the most wonderful gift in the world and you sound like you will oneday, be a fantastic mummy hun. You want it more than anything, you'll get it oneday cos u deserve it xxx keep on it xxxx

Thankyou I can't wait for it to happen tbh , and i don't know why but since last night I have had this masssssive craving for Brocolli think it's just a coinsidence though because cravings don't happen that quick x

eeew broccili craving!! If that is a pregnancy symptom I feel sorry for you. (I don't like broccoli ! ). You asked how old I am, and I'm 22 by the way. Still young!

I know it is rather awful isn't it although I dont think that it's a pregnancy symptom i think its just a coinsidence , atleast if it is my baby will be a good veggie eater
