An old friend of mine has pcos and never had periods. They had tried for years but never conceived. Her dr suggested acupuncture to her and her periods returned within a few visits followed by a lovely bfp and their baby girl.

So ladies would you do it every other day as last month I was unsure when I ovulated so DTD every day for over a week, I was thinking I don't want his little swimmers to decline !! xx

For me quality vs quantity matters, so no I don't think we will DTD every day. Last time I fell with us DTD only once 3-4 days before OV (due to DH being away). That was lucky of course, so maybe every other day to gather some energy!

Thats a lovely story Lolie, i wander if it could help me relax about ttc... anything to improve my chances and boost my fertility would be good, could be worth a try ladies

Morning ladies,
Well I've started feeling more positive today, I've started a healthy eating plan today and have booked an appointment for Monday morning with a specialist in fertility acupuncture
I also have ordered some opks and softcups (not sure about these) so all ready for when I ovulate

How is everyone this morning?

Started spotting last night and the witch arrived properly this morning so onto the next cycle and the clearblue study. I feel more positive now as my cycles are back no normal after my miscarriage in August. So should ovulate round about 5/6th December.

A question about softcups...has anyone used them? I've heard they keep the little guys near your cervix so then they get more chance of meeting the egg

I'm sorry to hear that too Michelle. Glad everything is back to what u think your cycles should be, and your feeling more positive.

I am too, Emma I have my fertility acupuncture appt thurs ! So excited spoke to her today and it sounds brilliant, also helps my stress levels, and if I fall pregnant I can continue it the ought pregnancy !! Let me know how u get on as yours is before mine, so drs wed, that thurs! All going off.

Glad everyone's more positive for December I have high hopes!!
I start my trial product sat too..

Thanks Jess and Angel, yeah it was my 4th miscarriage, we managed to get to 9wks but baby failed develop after we discovered it had massive chromosomal abnormalities. I went for a D&C and wasn't sure how long it would take for my cycles to get back to normal as my other miscarriages occurred naturally or through medical management.
It seems my cycles have now returned to 30 days long with me ovulating on CD16. So pleased I know where I am and can get cracking TTC baby number 2

My OH doesn't even know what the stick things are for! ...he asked today if I'm still 'ON' just because he wants some, I told him I'm still 'ON' and I'm not fertile yet... so he says we can just practice lol

Men, what are they like hahaha!!!
Sometimes I envy my husband. He has no idea where I am in my cycles most of the time so he never has the stress of ovulation or testing or symptom spotting. It would be great to be that niave sometimes.

Morning ladies, so first day of monitor today for this new cycle. I'm very shocked that it's a high day?? It goes low, high for fertile days , then peak ovulation 2 day. Now I only stopped af a couple of days ago, it just lasted 3 days, I don't have fertile cm I wouldn't say, so I'm really confused,can anyone help?? Or explain why it's high ha x

Well I've never used the monitor but I have used the advanced clearblue fertility ovulation sticks and they sound similar as it's gives you low high and peak days, well last month on day 10 I got low then day 11 peak! But no other signs, no fertile cm and a negative opk,

If your monitor says high it may be high for a few days before your peak not sure how it works really but I think it measures your rise in hormones as well as lh so it may of detected that, is there a helpline you could ring?

Morning, I'm on cycle day 7 that's all.

It measure estrogen and lh, so last cycle for example I got 2 low days, 5 high then 2 peak days, 1 high again , which I would is about perfect for a cycle , peak days being on cd13 and cd14.

But I've gone straight from AF ( even tho it didn't last long) to high, so I'm either going to get lots of high days , or ovulate really early I think it means.

So no clue when my fertile week is ha, or when should be baby dancing....

I think there is a help line but it's purely how to use it, and set it up it reads like.

I hope I don't ovulate early as no cm there at minute x

If your only cd 7 I wouldn't of thought you would ovulate yet,
keep testing and you may just get loads of high days before your peak, or it may be that it goes low tomorrow and it was just a glitch?
You may be getting a early estrogen surge which I've read can happen quite soon after your cycle starts, ( i read up when i got my peak) but it shouldnt read peak until your lh surge is detected so you could be in for a lot of high days, if I were you I wouldn't worry about dtd too much at this point but perhaps just every other day? Sorry I can't be much help xxx

Ahh okay that makes sense! I'll see what happens tomorrow I'm really nervous now , because my cm isn't fertile I need ovulation to stay away for a week!!! X
