30c in babies room

Baby girl went to bed in just a nappy, she eventually settled just after 10pm (after three hours of trying to get her to sleep) And she stayed asleep all night thankfully.

Would definitely appreciate a much cooler night tonight.

My 19 month old slept fine in just his nappy and a pair of shorts, but we ended up popping our 3 year old on her mattress downstairs in the lounge as it was far cooler and she was just in a nappy. I think the coolest it was supposed to be here last night was 24!!! After having my daughter overheat once at night, I usually go for as little clothing as possible on them when it's this hot. It's way more dangerous for them to be too hot than cold.

We've kept LO in a nappy and that's it! No idea what temp it is in here other than hot, hot, hot! I'd rather he be a wee bit cold than a wee bit hot cus at least that way he'll tell us!

We managed a good night sleep. Dunked Alfie in the bath at 7 and the relief on his face was priceless bless him! He then had a bottle and by 7.45 was soundo in bed. He was in just a vest last night with the window open and his fan on. Gro-egg was readin 28.1 when we went up to check him at 10. The dog slept with a damp towel over her to cool her down too. It soooo much cooler today. Clouded over a lot and hoping for some rain to clear the air! Can't say I'm a fan of summer :(

My boys room was 33 when they went to bed on weds night, the hottest it's ever been. They both slept in just their nappies. No clothing or duvets at all and both slept great with a fan on and the windows wide open. I barricaded under the window with toys so that if either of them went near it they'd knock toys over or set noisy toys off and wake me up. They both slept straight through though.

Last night it read 28, they slept in nappies and t-shirts with nothing else and again slept fine :)

Cam has shorts and t- shirt jammies but insists on having the duvet over him! I'm the same though, have to have something over me even if it's just covering my feet!

I always go in and check on him before I go to bed and he's always got a sweaty head and generally kicked his duvet off. H he's quite a hot kid anyway and seems to be a sweaty sleeper regardless of the time of year.

If it gets really hot again, then I may just take the duvet out of the cover and he can have the thin cover over him. It looks like it's going to be a glorious day here again so I'll check what temperature his room is at bedtime and go from there.
