2nd pregnancies..

Hiya,

I just wondered those of you that are on your 2nd pregnancies, what differences have you noticed from your 1st?

Also anyone thats had two babies Already, was your labour shorter?? I am very interested to know! As i was induced last time due to my waters breaking, and it lasted 8 hours all in all, so im wondering if i have a natural labour this time, if my last labour wouldn't really count anyway coz it was the drip that made me have contractions.. also were your babies bigger 2nd time? My lil boy was 8 pound 6 which i thought was fairly big anyway, dont want to be pushing out bigger than that lol.

My pregnancys been basically the same! The only difference I've had is this time I've had awful rib pain!! Can't answer you with the labour yet though!

The only difference between my two is the fact that I had morning sickness this time and didn't with DD. Haven't had him yet so can't help regards to shorter labour x

This is my 3rd child and all have been different!

Pregnancy wise..

1st - i was tiny, measured small for dates, no sickness, aches, pains etc...he was born at 39 weeks at a dainty 5lbs 13oz after 1hr and 50 minutes (although i do think i was in slow labour all week with him)

2nd - I was huge, measured large for dates, had awful heartburn, aches, pains, water infections etc...he was born at 36 weeks weighing 6lbs 11oz after 4 hours from waters breaking to having him.

3rd - Average sized, measured bang on for dates, had slight nausea, sore boobs and sciatica but apart from that a good pregnancy! He was born at 37 weeks weighing 6lbs 1oz after 2hrs and 15 minutes from arriving in hospital to having him.

And all have been boys! Hope this helps?

this ones worse then codie, i feel sick all the time twice as tired, boobies are a DO NOT TOUCH area, bleeds, and im only 6 weeks gone

my 1st (boy) felt great healthier than I ever have before, got induced as waters had broke labour was 1hr 56 mins weighing 5lb 12oz at 38 weeks, my 2nd (girl) pregnancy exactly the same felt great, labour induced as 1st labour was so fast it lasted just under an hour and she weighed 6lb 8oz at 38 weeks, then 3rd (boy) bit of sickness alot of bleeding not good pregnancy at all, waters broke at 22 weeks had him at 33 weeks 18 min labour spontatious weighing 4lb 6oz, 4th (girl) a bit of sick again just woried through pregnancy, turned up at hospital to be induced at 39 weeks as wasn't ready at 38 weeks to be found already 6cm with waters bulging 10 mins later she was born weighing 6lb 15oz. 5th (boy) morning sickness worse, again after being told i wasn't ready to be induced at 38 weeks waters broke a few days later,they kept me in hospital in induction ward saying i wasn't having contractions or anything but wouldn't let me home, after alot of walking up and down stairs managed to start myself off a few hours later and 8 mins later he was born on the end of the bed in ward weighing 6lb 13oz. so you can see my labours have gor faster and faster and i am petrified this time, also the weights have gone up slightly except last one went down a few ounces I think I may well have a 7lber this time

with my DD i was being sick untill around 20+ weeks, with this bean ive been sick 4 times ( between 4-6 weeks) but had really bad nausea at 4-5 weeks.
with the bean im having really bad pregnancy cramps, i didnt with DD
both pregnancy i was anemic.
showed much much earlier with this baby xxx
