28 week Scan!

Well I had another scan today to make sure baby was growing okay.. and on my notes it says "relation to brim" and i was just wondering what exactly this means.. Below it saying 5/5

It means the babies heads at the top of your pelvis starting to engage

no we only get 12 and 20 week, unless they are concerned about growth etc x

I got one to check the growth I have the have one every 4 weeks now untill I am 36 and If baby is big enough at 36 weeks they MAY want me to deliver .. it depends

Not a bad thing as babies can disengage too but very exciting if he stays there!!

It also says presentation position : Ceph what ever that means.

Cephalic, it means that the babies head is down and bum is up, this is a good thing xx

Just annoys me the way the hospital dont even bother to explain I had to ask the doctor to get someone to do my bloods today cos she wouldn't do them.. she didn't read my appointment card that cleary said .. FBC on it !! I will never ever ever go to this hospital again they drive me insane lol

I wouldn't worry my two first were like 3/5ths from like 28wks lol and I went over due twice lol!!

oh trust me I know what you mean the 1st hospital I was going to were terrible they even hid the fact they thought that there was something wrong with the babys brain and left it to the poor consultant telling me a few days later at my follow up scan!!!

and then you read the notes and I am terrible I go on google all the time lol

do you get the wee blue and white pregnancy notes book and then a printed sheet of the scan notes xx

I get a booklet thing with all my Sonographer reports on it and things then i get yellow pieces of paper with a graph showing the growth and the amount of fluid around the baby and the efw

yeah I get these too, but on purple paper lol i think its abad idea getting them home now dont you xx
