18-20 week scans check ins

hey ladies.. i know a few of us are due our scans over the next few weeks? when is yours??

mines 6th sept at 10.30 - which will probably be about 12.30 coz the hospitals so slow lol.. are you finding out the sex? we arnt .. teehee

mine should be next week but I am away on holiday so it is 3rd September at 1.30 and we are going to find out the sex- oh really wants to know.

I'm 3rd Sept too! But mines at 11.30, although like you Lisa I'll probably still be sat there at 1.30 cos my hospital doesn't like to keep to time either!

oooh and I'm definitely finding out the sex!! Been told to eat plenty of sugar to get baby moving before the scan!

Mines Sept 3rd also at 10:40am (well 11 really but they told me to be there 20 mins early). we aren't finding out the sex.. we want a surprise.... getting loads of copies of scan though for all the family

31st August, can't wait! will be 21 weeks exactly!

Def finding out if baby is feeling cooperative. I'm reconciled to either (even after seeing happychick's gorgeous little dress!!)

We will be chuffed to bits whether it's blue or pink! Just want to get down to the buying the first outfit ceremony, and thinking of names once we can narrow it down 50/50.

Anyone nervous about it? I was getting quite edgy but then this week little 'un's decided to go all-out wriggler - feeling movement really reassures me (although then you worry whenever it's not moving )

Okaasan ... I'm the same. When I think about the scan I get worried...it's only natural...but I'm so excited about it too...

I've been kept awake for the past couple of nights because the baby insists on doing some sort of breakdance at ridiculous hours in the morning! But on those days when he/she is quiet I do start to worry but my angelsounds soon helps put me at ease..

Mine is on 10th sept at 2.30pm, I was lucky with the last one as it was 9.30 so not too long to wait around and fret, dreading the full bladder again, that was realy unpleasant!

I can't wait to find out the sex, my partner is not as keen to know but I need to.

My scan in the 10th Sept too, at one thirty, planning not to find out the sex but think I might get too curious on the day. Not as nervous as I was for 12 week one but its early yet.

Mines not till 19th Sept, ages away. I think i'll be more nervous than the 12 week scan as they check out all the organs and limbs for abnormalities in this one don't they. I was told to have a full bladder for this one too.

I had my scan this morning

Baby was upside down and very wriggly. Everything seems well! Unfortunately they don't tell you what you're expecting up here any more, so I was trying hard to have a good look, but couldn't see any give aways! Just have to wait and see.

mines not until the 26 th sept zzzzzzzzzzzzzz and we have to find out the sex, as if its a boy it will have a bleeding disorder and they need to know before the birth incase any complications arise

Im grumpy as hell at the mo cant remember the last time I even just woke twice in a night, never had this with my other 3, proper full blown insomnia was awake from 12.30 till 5.20 this morning, did a load of ironing, prepared tonights tea and polished and dusted

had my 16 week check yesterday, didnt even feel my belly no listening to heartbeat, in and out in 4 mins with just bp and wee tested, first time I met midwife too (8 week was a student) it was a pile of pants and so impersonal


cant wait to see what this lil monkey is doing, it never seems to stop fidgeting these past few days its having a good rummage around for something
