its my step brothers 13th birthday in 3 weeks, and im bummed as to what to get him.

he's getting a mobile off his mum, and clothes.

he's really into football (blackburn rovers) and loves writing and drawing.

also loves harry potter and Rocky films.

any ideas? :wall:

does he have all the harry potter stuff?

would u give him money like a fiver or something like that so he can buy whatever he wants or save it up :)

yeah he has all harry potter books/films and rocky stuff

i thought money but ive given him money for the last 12 years :rotfl:

thanks sarah,
im thinking about those harry potter prints, cos there limited to 2000 and he's very proud of his bedroom and would love showing them off!

I got that for my nephew from the first one and he loves them!

Kimbo... how about trying the Blackburn football club shop if there is one? Maybe a new shirt/mug/polo shirt from there..? Or if he plays football or sports you could get him some football boots/new trainers..? Or you could get him a HMV voucher if he likes films and music and you don't know what he already has or wants? I always tend to avoid giving straight money... I don't know why, maybe I like the present challenge!

I know what I got my dad once - he is mad on Portsmouth. I found him an aerial photo on ebay of the Portsmouth ground (there are ppl on there that specialise in football ground aerial photos) there may be a Blackburn one on there, or one of the sellers may be able to get hold of one? Then you could put it in a nice frame for his bedroom.

Or... also on ebay, make your own CD clock, or get one already made. You can supply any picture, so you could get him a clock with him and his mates on, or the blackburn logo, or Harry Potter/Rocky... any picture you can find. Or if you are making it yourself (I did one, it's not too difficult) you could give him one with one of those on, and then make extra CD's for it so it's interchangeable..? I made my dad one with the portsmouth logo on. If you need help with where to find 'make your own CD clock' pieces let me know and I'll get you some links.

Sorry to go on, I love thinking of original present ideas..! I am the ultimate present buyer, people are always asking me how I manage to find such original ideas, and they never cost too much either :cheer:

thanks lekershell

i like the clock idea, although it would have to be bought already made.
i failed design tech in school hehe

ill have a look
