10 Month's Plus Non Crawlers?

Ryan is 10 months and he is still showing noo signs of crawling, moving, pulling himself to stand etc etc etc I know all babies do it in there own time but he would be so much happier if he could move around, i know he will get there in time but who else has a 10 month old or older who can't crawl, bum shuffle, pull themselves up etc

Tom never crawled or bum shuffled. He just went straight to walking which he did at about 13 months I think.

My OH didn't crawl when he was a babe his Mum said he started crawling one day and then all of a sudden just pulled himself up and started walking that was about 11months

I don't know how to encourage him, I feel like ive done something wrong becuase he isnt crawling yet or something

I know she's not quite 10 months, but Anjali is nowhere near crawling. She is extremely dextrous though with her hands, and has excellent balance when sitting and leaning, so im not worried.

Don't feel like that. All babies develop at different rates. He's still very young.

Jack didn't crawl until just before his 1st birthday. He commando crawled for a bit between 11-12months. He only pulled himself up around 13 months and only over the past few weeks has taken his first steps

No my stephen didnt do it, didnt do anything until he was 16 months.

Imogen didnt start to pull herself until she was 12 months.

10months is still so young!! Kyran started crawling properly when he was 11months-ish, then within that week he learnt to sit from lying down and pull himself up. he went from dragging himself around on his belly for months and months to cruising in a week. Before that if i stood him on his feet he'd cry and try and sit straight away. hated being on his feet. Dont worry once hes ready he'll let you no, then he'll be driving you mad coz hes crawling everywhere and nothing is safe!

DD didn't crawl till she was about a year old - she just wasn't interested in it at all but once she did try it you couldn't stop her!

Alex just about started bum shuffling when he was 10 months.

He pulled himself to stand at 15 months and started cruising, and also at 15 months he got the hang of crawling, but he doesn't do it very often at all, he much prefers still bum shuffling.

He's 16 months now and cruises very well but cannot walk alone. He can stand by himself for about 30 seconds before he sits back down again. He's also taken 1 step by himself.

Thanks everyone I think im just to eager to take him to indoor play area's and be able to chase him around etc, i know it will be a pain lol but i really can't wait for him to be on the move!
