Why is 2ww so annoying :(

Yeh cant even describe how gutted i am. And how likely it is to not happen naturally now since cycle 12 next month. So you guys believe temps r on their way down now? Never sure as only a small 0.10 difference

Well ill wait on tomorrow should be af tomorrow. Last cycle i started spotting 12dpo in evening so ill do that cervix check then aswell

It will happen for you. Be positive.
6-12 cycles is average in the UK so you just never know.
By looking at your chart it does look like your temps are on the way down as it declines this morning and af is due tomorrow. x

Think ill check cm tonight as last cycle i spotted night before.. see how that is & then hope & pray in someway pg tests are wrong!! Im allowed to clutch at straws right??
Also didnt realise my pg tests were alltest a brand that wasnt picking up my O etc for 2 cycles so.. i thrown um basically as i got the O and Pg tests together and the O ones never worked. I got One Step and like that O shows on tests!

Well tomorrow i think is my super official due af date as cycles seem to be 28 days now..! Onward & Upward & so much wishful thinking and clutching at straws as i know last cycle af cramps were solid bad ones to point of im ganna come on..but temp says no so only reason i dont believe will come on.. if makes sense.. i suppose if im not pg (and im prob not) atleast the cramps have softened this cycle to almost nice cramps.. if that makes any sense at all!!

As Char says, 6-12 cycles is average which means plenty of couples take less cycles and plenty of couples take more. There's no reason why it won't happen for you just because you pass the year mark. There's a lot of focus on that as if you haven't caught by then, there's a serious problem but remember it's an average. Took us 3 years in total so well over 30 cycles in the end We did have a few issues to iron out but sometimes it just takes longer.

how did you know that you had caught when you had? or didnt you :/


i am looking into IF i should buy cheap pregnancy tests for future cycles cause as stated before i didnt realise i had pregnancy tests of same batch as them opks i had a while back that wernt working, and i wasted 2 cycles on useless opks, interestingly when i complained to company they never replied..


i was looking into one step as as soon as i switched to them opks my opks were positive etc again but people are saying online that frer is better and one step sometimes show negative when arent etc.. so confused! i am thinking tho im better to try not to think about testing in 2ww and wait to be late before i do.. from now on.

I had no idea we had actually caught. You'd think I would have noticed a difference after all that time lol!!

I just had very regular cycles and was only doing OPKs by that point. I knew when I ovulated so I knew I was late. That was the only reason.

Personally I never did early testing. I think as we were trying for so long it just seemed a waste of time and money. Also seeing a negative test wasn't exactly helpful and AF was perfectly capable of providing the same monthly disappointment. If you're pregnant, you're pregnant. A few more days won't change anything.

Agree with you - cause biggest possibility is im not pregnant so ive just prolonged the feelings of sadness and crying to two days .. today from neg test and tomorrow when it comes for real!
I realllly wish i hadnt tested..!
And what if i am pg and test is wrong (it has been for other people wishful thinking or not it *could* be possible) ive just got serious stressed and upset over a botch batch of tests which i know wernt right from opks i got in set alone...

Think ill learn my lesson from this month woteva outcome is! Test 1 day late from now on.

I think personally think you should test with a FRER whether your testing early or after af is due.
They are the most realiable.

Hi Char agree. Ive seen so many bad reviews both false positive and negatives for one step preg tests and i know this morning when i saw i had alltest pg tests i was like crap! (cause there opks didnt work!) Weird when i said this to them they ignored my message so learnt never to buy from them again!! anyway prob wont test early again.. but when im in a situation where i need to test frer is where im headed

I try not to test early as I always end up with af arriving, I'm thinking of testing a day early this cycle purely because it's my anniversary and it would be amazing to find out that day.
The 2ww is hell and think it's drives us all a bit insane
