And what are you all doing to keep yourselfs busy up until your due date? :)

I finished up on Friday! Monday I had a friend over for lunch, yesterday went shopping with Mum then for a big slush puppy  and today had babys scan!

God knows what I'm going to do to keep myself busy for the next couple of weeks now, not got much planned atall  kinda wishing I kept some of the baby shopping and washing his clothes etc until now!

What are you all finding to do??

I have cut down to part time hours this week and I'm already feeling a bit bored and lonely!

Its tough to think of things to do that dont involve a lotta bending/lifting/moving about etc....

I have been making some EXTRA yummy dinners for hubby and making him really yummy packed lunches,.....seen a few friends for cups of tea.... what I would ideally be doing is washing babys clothes/blankets etc and putting them away, but we're waiting to get furniture for the nursery..... :wash:

...wish I could fast forward time a little bit.... :clock:

i finished ages ago aswell. love it. had my rest time, nursery time. now im meeting up with friends when i can before lo gets here, secretly hoping that he will decide he doesnt want mummy to keep meeting these people and make an appearance.

I finished about a week ago, and seem to have been busy doing nothing :)

I suppose now is a great time to meet up with friends since we won't have quite so much time to ourselves soon! :)

I find it really hard to have a lie in or just sit and watch TV, I'm constantly looking for things to do lol never used to be like that, must be the nesting side of me!

I'm thinking I might attempt to make a carrot cake tomorrow, we will see how that turns out

i leave in 2 weeks! though have cut my hours at work to use up holiday, so only there 3 days a week at the mo! my parents have been coming over once a week, and are going to continue this once on mat leave! and i know its "summer" but i've decided i'm going to start baking bread, as we get through so much of it and OH want's it to be healthy so whats better than fresh and home made!!! still have to wash all of baby's cloths ect so will have all that to do soon, just need to sort out where we are going to put it all first, as he's going to be in our room!

I finished on Friday too! I'm already starting to feel a tad impatient.
I've been doing one 'outing' of some description per day and making sure that I read lots and listen to my Hypnobirthing CDs when I'm in the house.
It's winter here for us now so I've been cooking up some dinners in the slow cooker and in time I will freeze some for the first week after bubs comes. Hubby finished work early today so we went and bought all the last minute baby bits like the bath and extra sheets for the bassinet etc. I'm still yet to wash all the baby clothes and need to sort hospital bag - I def want some lazy days where I just read and watch films too!
Yum - baking carrot cake sounds like a plan!

IM ON LEAVE, and i am bored shitless, but couldnt stay at work either as its way tooo much walking around and stress...i actually dont know what to do with my time, so i just sit in bed and watch movies all day and pray this baby pops out soon before i go nuts

Not me I'm still working, wouldn't know what to do with myself if i wasn't. Although I've kinda cut my hours this last week and am coming in at 10ish instead of 9ish.

Well technically i've been on maternity leave through the whole of my pregnancy! I lost my job shortly before finding out I was pregnant due to cuts, did some temp work with an agency for a while which soon dried up and so here I am! To be honest it's been a good thing - I've suffered so much with my back and hips and also the first 3 months I was SO ill with both sickness and terrible migraines, I would've had to have so much time off work anyway.

I've used the time to get things done; make lists and clean the house etc. It does get pretty boring sometimes, but often I'll turn my laptop on and the time flies when I'm online on the forum/facebook/researching baby stuff!

Hi, I am on AL next week then I start my mat leave... so two more days at work for myself.. x
