just had to let out a shout of joy - this is the 1st day of my summer hols - i am a teacher and the summer hols technically started on friday 29th june - but the 1st monday always feels like a real day off - heres to 8weeks in bed - with 3 kids who are also off school

Lucky you - I knew I chose the wrong job! I've got a day off today and have spent most of it in bed so far....very satisfying x

it still feels strange that i'm on maternity leave and don't have to go back to work for another ages... i still have at least 1 email a day from someone at work staying in touch
