Where can I buy progesterone?

Maybebaby might be able to help...

I start my 3rd round of iui injections tonight, and I know ill just be given my normal progesterone pessaries too. On my last 2 iui my cycle has turned up early and bang on time with a false BFP (duff test)

So I was thinking if I have a littl extra progesterone it might help me. I also have injections left from my abandoned round of iui which are still in date so I might have a cheeky extra jab too

Any help would be great. Feeling really positive about this cycle xxxx

If you use the leftover injections as well as the prescribed pessaries, you'd need to keep them up for the duration of trimester 1. If you get a BFP and then there's a drop in progesterone levels it can trigger a miscarriage, so you need to have a steady level of progesterone until 12 weeks. I wouldn't recommend doing the odd shot of it on top of your pessaries as you'll cause a progesterone spike and the drop would be dangerous.

I've had extra injections before just to stimulate follicle growth...if I'm honest it's never made much difference and my old stuff is out of date so won't be getting used.

Progesterone is a no go as I can't source any but will ask my nurse about them when I go in.

I just want to try something new as same dose hasn't worked in the past so why not increase it and see?

Ah, I see, I thought you meant to use it after ovulation for luteal phase support.

I've heard of people using progesterone cream, but I think that was for post-ovulation support too, not sure if it would work for a quick shot for follicle growth.
