Just wondering when everyone started buying things for baby?
whens too early kind of thing xx

I've bought loads and I'm not even preggers yet!! A few of us in ttc are the same, being impatient and money savvy at the same time ;)

If you can get bargains now, go for it!!

some ppl wait til after their first scan, some til after the 2nd, some buy stuff straight away and some wait til v day at 24 weeks :)
tis entirely up to you

First thing we bought was the buggy. Didn't know it was meant to be bad luck but don't believe in that stuff anyway. It was shortly after our first scan. Reason was we found a great offer and saved ourselves a couple of hundred quid. Basically if I see a good price I'll get it.

Sounds like a good idea, guess if you see something thats a bargain your gonna grab it aren't you :)
asda do some lovely unisex newborn stuff i was in the other day and was like awwww i wanted everything lol xx

I started at 14 weeks, one cos my mum mc'd at 14 weeks so made me wait bless her and 2 cos I knew as soon as I did everyone would jump on the bandwagon lol. I have had to take my clothes out of the wardrobe to make room for baby's stuff  xxxxxxxxxx

Reilly we have started picking stuff up! It's a good time for catching the sales and stuff so go for it :)

My logic was that if god forbid anything was to happen we would have something tangible to have to 'let go' as it's nothing huge yet like prams etc.

But go for it :) Your getting baby vests and stuff in Mothercare just now for £2.75 for a 3 pack & its buy one get one free :D Also nappies are only £1 for newborn in Tesco :D :D Not sure if they are still down to £1 in Asda as well... but you'll get directed to the bargains on here :) xxx

I say go for it especially if you come across bargains. You don't realise until you start buying how much stuff you actually need and how much it all costs. If you start early you can spread the cost over a longer period of time which has helped us loads!!! xx

What did everyone start buying first as there's alot to buy for a newborn lol??

We bought the pram when I was about 4 weeks pregnant.. And the only reason we did is because we got a bargain, it was from the mamas and papas outlet for £200 and is worth £700 brand new so we didn't want to let such a good deal go..

I don't think any time is too early anyway.. Its entirely upto you when you buy, whenever you feel ready :) x

i bought a travel system at 8 weeks cos it was 25 quid on ebay and such a good bargain lol

We bought a travel system about 2 yrs before I got PG lol
A nursery shop was closing down and had them on sale. We knew would be ttc'ing at some point so thought why not? If we never had a baby we could have always sold it.
When I got pg, the first thing I bought was a moses basket as it was a bargain on ebay... I was only about 7 weeks pg at the time!

I have tried to resist the urge to buy anything yet. But I have started decorating the nursery. Well Hubby gets to do the difficult bits

We were going to wait until 20 week scan but then we came across so bargains that were too good to miss so we have bought a few things now! It's so exciting xx
