Whens the best time to start checking out nurserys?

I had the same dilema when I went back to work after having my first, I was only working part time & my wages were only a few £'s more than the nursery fees. I got into a lot of financial trouble but i'm glad I went back because now I've been given a promotion & wage increase & it would have been a nightmare to try & find a new job after baby born.

Plus I wanted to work so my wee girl could look up to me & see that its important to keep working whenever you can & struggle thro the hard times rather than give in.
