When to tell children about the new pregnancy???

PB I wasn't the best at it but OH was, he's got more patience than me where I'd just panic lol. I wish I could remember when I got it but I'm sure it was actually after my scan. Which was at 12 weeks. I have recordings and videos of it but they say 17/18 weeks on them. I know I heard her heartbeat at 16 weeks with the midwife and she wasn't happy that I wasn't more emotional about it. But I'd been hearing her heartbeat for a bit so it wasn't the first time xx

Sarah yes they're safe. NHS advice is that the dopplers are safe but that people can pick the wrong thing up, either thinking their baby is fine when it's not, or that something's wrong when it's not. You just need to learn to recognise what you hear, since you can hear the baby, your heartbeat, and the placenta wooshing. But it's up to you if you feel confortable doing it xx

Lol you just have to spend alot of time figuring out what's what. My hubby did it once and cos in fat you need to press it in slot and he was like nooo I'll touch the baby! XD

Sarah don't use it after baby starts moving regular.

I think for a small child 6 months is a long time to wait. That said..we told our little one at maybe 14 weeks and she’s tortured me ever since. Haha.. when’s the baby coming mammy, how much longer mammy etc etc

I’ve at least got Christmas as a distraction I guess!

I knowww :/ that's the thing it's definitely so long for a 3/4 year old. I'm gonna be tortured by the sounds of thing lol. What age is your one? X

She’s 5.. but is über excited!

TORino such a cute age!! And old enough to hopefully help you out with baby lol. Mine will be 4 I can't wait to see them together xx
