when should i start using ovulation tests?

I came of the pill 31st october on 1st december i had some spotting then had a proper AF 17th january it has now finished im hoping im now going back to my old cycle which used to be 30 days,

So the question is when shall i start using ovulation tests?

is the first day of your period cycle day 1?

1st day of your period is cycle day one yeah. If you have bought your OV tests already they should say in the instructions when to start testing depending on how long your cycle is.
But i beleive for a 28 day cycle they say to start testing on day 10 until u get a positive.

well im going to start OV testing tommorrow as ive ordered 20 more OV tests of ebay and already have some at home! atleast i can test every day untill i get a positive

If i do get a positive, how long after that should i eithier test or get AF?

only reason why im asking as im hoping im going back too a regular cycle but after last months killer 47 day cycle i dont know x
