Your babies

*wave
*blow kisses
*point at things they want
*clap hands
*give proper cuddles

Lil miss can do all of them... she just learnt to blow kisses in the last week or so... but our GP said that she's really too young to be doing these things yet... Not that that would stop her and well she still thinks the hoover is a cat  :rotfl: :rotfl: ...Its difficult to ascertain an exact age just by googling... so I was wondering what the general census is..

Thea was doing all those things by 7/8 months but then she was walking unaided by 10 months and has been talking using understandable words since around the same time she started to walk. I think drs and health visitors talk out of their backsides, Thea has never fit into the right boxes, shes always been a few months or more ahead of where she should be but its not because she's a genius its just kids dont fit into these bloody lables we insist on giving them.

Clapping at around 6 months, the others by around 9 or 10 months but I can't remember exactly. Was around the same time as she started walking unaided - except blowing kisses. She likes to kiss things properly, especially her dollies.

Thomas can wave at people already when they leave its really cute :)
xx

Ellie points at what she wants, cuddles, passes you things if you say 'ta' but doesnt wave or kiss yet :) She now strokes the cat like we do too  xx

 Everytime she stroked them we just said gentle and showed her how to do it gently, when she does it gently we praise her  and she just carried on doing it, if you say gently to her she strokes them properly then looks at u!

She still likes to have a good pull though when she gets over excited! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: x

Kaira's been waving for a couple of weeks - or so I'm told!! She will only wave at Daddy and only if I am not in the room  The minute OH shout's me through she stops doing it

Evie seems to have suddenly started doing things in the last month

she waves hello and bye bye...
she gives you kisses when you ask (with her wide open sloppy gob)
she claps her hands
she can identify certain toys and pulls them out of the toy box when you ask
she pulls herself up to standing and is occasionally brave enough to take a step or two before she falls!
she thinks everything is a phone a puts it to her ear! :rotfl: (says a lot about me I think!)

god it's amazing how much stuff she does...it just seems like she's doing something new all the time at the minute. I've loved every single minute of her but I think that this time now is the best by far...she's so funny, she makes me laugh everyday.

The thing is everyone here says how alert lil miss is but I don't think she is doing anything abnormal, Tia was the same and she wasn't a genius or anything...but Spanish babies do tend to sleep a lot and be quite quiet.. Considering how dam noisy they grow up to be :rotfl: :rotfl: :) :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: As I only really see Spanish babies I don't have much to compare too.. Shes more like a lil person now and I love that.

Thats exactly what we do. When Dan gets a bit rough with our cats or our dog Gyspy, I always say (whilst stroking) 'gently, love gypsy, be gentle, love gyps' and then the customary praising!
Now if I say 'love mummy' he starts stroking my face! :rotfl:

Ryan can't do any yet lol lazy moo bag!

thats the same as harrison, he'd just rather bash everything and everyone instead :rotfl:

ky waves, claps, dances when you say dance (shakes arms up and down and makes a 'uuuhhuuuhhhuuuuh' noise) does an indian noise (tap hand against mouth, ya no what i mean) points at things he wants, sings his 'daaad daaaa dad' song when asked. he makes his own noises when he wants something - he sucks his lips together and does a grabbing action when he wants his bottle. will tell me no by shaking his head when i offer him something. he loves copying, i think its normal for this age? he comes up with new things everyday now.

haha! :rotfl: babylicious thats definitely kys fav activity - see how hard he can bang a toy on something or on me!

Ooo she claps :D Shes doing something new all the time at the moment, I think its one of those fast paced stages! No teeth yet tho, they are driving us all mad too lol

Ella started clapping properly at 6 months, she was trying for a few weeks before that but she did proper co-ordinated claps at 6 months. She waves aswell, and says Mama and recently Dadda apparently (I wasn't here though - So it doesn't count :shakehead: ).
