I keep thinking I am so far off but I'm actually not

Should I be thinking about getting my bag ready now?

I started gathering stuff together about the same time as you now, just so I wasn't rushing round the shops when I was too massive. I just kept an eye out for good deals and bargains each time I went shopping as well, there is always a deal on nappies or wipes somewhere etc..

Actually packed and (just about!) ready to go = about 35 weeks

Mine are just about ready now. I'm packing my house up to move next week so have had the bags semi ready for a couple of weeks. Its never too early to be prepared

 I don't have a single thing in a bag yet and all we have for baby is a pack of newborn nappies!

Do you think i should get moving?

We are still painting the house then waiting for our new sofa and carpet to be fitted then i was going to sort out all the baby bits, but it it taking longer than i thought!

I have nothing yet prepared either! We should be moving in the next two weeks so I was kind of waiting for that. But I am starting to panick a little bit - I might go shopping when this bloody rain stops!

I only had my bag fully packed at 38 weeks. Before that I had put a few things aside ready but not actually packed anything. :)

I had mine packed and ready to go by about 30 weeks, perhpas a week or two earlier. Just wanted to get organised and couldn't stand the thought of going into labour and DH being in a flap as to where he might find nappies, underwear, toothbrushes and so forth!

Mines done now as technically i only have 3 weeks or so left

Same here. We went on a holiday to Devon for a long weekend when I was about 29 weeks and I had the basics packed for then just in case it happened in Devon - I didn't wanna be in a hospital miles away from home without some of my stuff. I've added a bit more stuff for me to it since, and now it's all packed and ready.

No, mines just been sitting in the corner of the room for ages - I'm just far too organised, I think most people do it when they go on maternity leave, or about 36 weeks or so.. 29/30 weeks really is a bit early, but since my kidneys seem to giving me grief through this pregnancy, I just didn't want to risk being in a hospital a long way from home without anything, just in case the baby was distressed and they had to deliver.

I think im way to lax about it all 2nd time around.Yes i have done LO bag, but not my own or even made a start and moses basket is still on top of wardrobe and havent un packed any baby stuff at all apart from clothes and that was just to wash and iron them all and hang them up.

I need my nesting instinct to kick in.

When stephen was due i had everything set up and ready at 29 weeks pregnant

I've got a few bits n pieces in, and it's my birthday next week so I've asked for some new things to take with me such as a new holdall and nighties etc. I'll pack my bags the week after my birthday and that way I've still got time to get anything I think I'll need x

I put baby's stuff in around 38 weeks. I didn't pack anything for me until 40+6

i going to pack my stuff when im 36 wks so 17th aug. im really excited wanna pack now
xnatx

i think i packed one "just in case" at around 35 weeks or something. luckily i didnt need it as i got my HB :cheer:

My bag is not quite ready yet. I've got a fair amount of stuff packed but not everything.

I know im a bit early but I started getting bits and pieces last week.... well I was on the sick from work and didnt have much else to do! :D
