As title says, I'm itching to find heartbeat but still abit early last pregnancy I never found it until 9 weeks I'm nearly 8!! Anyone found it earlier than 9 weeks? X

I had a doppler with my first pregnancy but didn't get it until around 16 weeks gone so there was a good established beat by then. To be honest I rarely used it so I'm not bothering this time round. After 16 weeks I could feel the kicks and punches all to well to keep my nerves calm lol

PP xXx

I've got a clear recording of last pregnancy at 8+3, however had a fainter version a couple of days before (but didn't save what date I was when I got that.) So around 8 weeks.
However I once had a stomach as flat an ironing board (if that influences how early you can hear?!) xxx

Yeah I want to use mine this time for reassurance in these early days due to spotting so very stressful hoping thAt will ease my mind abit!! X

I've posted here before about not being able to find the heartbeat. Well, I found it yesterday at 8+4 but the doppler didn't show the rate. It was definitely the baby's heartbeat though. Hope I will find it today again.

Ahh fab I'll be 8 weeks on Friday so hopefully I'll find it soon!! X

Just checked my journal and I was 11+5 when I got hb on Doppler this pregnancy.

And what kind of dopplers do you all have?

I have Sanoline B.

I have the sonoline b one aswell loved it last pregnancy in sure I will again once I find pigging heartbeat! X

I was 8+5 lol! I even managed to record it :) best sound I had ever heard after 3 losses it was the reassurance I needed.

Yeah defo is the best sound and gives you that reassurance you need. X

I got mine at 8 weeks and had it has a ringtone - it just sounded like a train going along the tracks to everyone else but to me I knew it was Jackson's HB.

Finding babies HB can be tricky no matter what week, there were a few occasions the MW took a little while to find Jackson. It can depend on position of placenta, baby and of course your insides!

Tis a big place in there.

Russellmuscle any tips on finding? I'll be 8 weeks tomoz, my last pregnancy I found it just above pubic hairline slightly to left of my belly button but had no joys so far! X

Well I know that ice cold water usually makes baby kick about like mad or a fizzy drink - so first instance Id try that then lay down then start from the pubic bone and slowly work up.

Your baby will be really low down at the minute, by 20 weeks the top of the womb is at the belly button, so baby will be much lower than than atm.

Good luck xxx

Ok I'll have another go later! I'm desperate to find it for some reassurance as been having brown discharge since 5 weeks, scan at 7 showed all ok but still a worry x

I had brownish blood until like week 8-9. Scan and internal examination showed everything fine. Womb neck closed and everything turned out fine.

xxxx

Oh really that's good to no!! I did pass a small clot and had bright red but at the scan show no blood around baby and wasn't coming from there, baby was measuring correct and all fine, but now my discharge is just a browney colour, hoping it sods off soon it's such a worry! Xx

Yeah I stopped being sick I was so worried I would MC, then they did an internal checked the neck of the womb then gave me a internal and tummy scan. Everything was fine.

I hear of so many ladies bleeding, my work colleagues daughter has been bleeding on/off for a week - shes like coming up for 12 weeks. Sometimes the womb changing constantly size etc it probably is knocking off some old blood - as long as its not increasing in amount or brightness.
