You hadn't had a baby???

If I hadn't had Rubie, right now I would be going to work every day, coming home and watching TV, going to bed, then getting up and going to work again. Maybe getting drunk a few times a week and smoking ridiculous amounts of cigarettes.

What would you be doing now???

I would be working, coming home, going to the pub getting drunk.

Sometimes going out for meals with friends, spending loads of money on clothes.

I don't like the feeling of being drunk now and i really enjoy nights in and early nights, so when i do go out i appreciate it more

ild prob be the gobby cow i used to be, going out gettin wrecked fighting with my bf trying to make him jelous by flirting with other men, spending all my wages on clothes..

im so glad i had Dior best thing that ever happened to me it has made me and kris so close and happy.

now i get a thrill out of going to town shopping 4 babies clothes

If I wasn't pg - I'd have been out yesterday drinking all day with friends and feeling rubbish today. I am pg and am feeling rubbish with lack of sleep and being uncomfortable but it's so much cheaper saving a fortune to spend on baby stuff!

If I hadn't got pregnant with Mason (my eldest) I'd still be living on a little island in Thailand working as a scuba instructor.

Id be working lots of overtime saving to pay for lots of holidays. I have missed my travel already, but cant wait to do more of it with Charlotte and my OH son.
Yeahhhh for family holidays.

I miss holidays too.

If I hadn't of gotten pregnant then I would be working, miserable and just made redundant. All my colleagues have lost their jobs from the beginning of May. I left last year. I would probably be arguing a lot with Matt, feeling like their was more to life (and now I know that's Ella!), in debt (getting pregnant made me clear up all of our debt, so now we are skint but debt free).

I would be doing nothing getting drunk most days of teh week as all i used to do was party and thats where most the money would of gone, leaving town at the spure of the moment, sleeping in. hmm so much i used to do, but as well no regrest love being a mom and now i have company when bernie is at work.

i would still be working fulltime as a veterinary nurse doing shifts of 8-5, 10 -7, 4pm - 1pm the next day (night duty), and working one weekend in 6 doing 8 saturday till 5pm on monday!!

but still loved it. especially all the animal - i miss them!

 

I would still be out, getting drunk, spending rediculous amounts of clothes and alcohol, smoking far much more and me and Mark may not even be together.

But being a mum has changed me, made me and Mark such a strong couple. I couldn't imagine going back to my old life, being a mum was my goal in life and now I have acheived it, I want to do it a million times over. I wouldn't swap my old life for this life ever. I'm broke, tired, can't afford new clothes and live on a strict budget now MA is stopped, but I'd rather be all that and have my beautiful son and my wonderful fiance than be drunk and well dressed. My life is brilliant

Kim - I read your first post and laughed - your post sounded just like me!

Like a lot of you I would probably still be smoking stupid amounts of cigs, drinking far too much wine after work. Bit like you Yvonne I dont really like feeling drunk now. I have gone off it - I have the odd glass but most of the time I end up leaving it and having a cup of tea instead.

Prefer it this way though!!! and I have my little cornish pixie
