Evening girls, well when i was pregnant with my lil boy i had everything done and dusted by 30 weeks inc buying everything as he was my 1st, doing nursery and hosp bag etc.
This time ive been much more chilled (or mabs too busy!) and havent really bought anything new and not even thought about my hospital bag!

So ive got to...

finish work! (next tues yay!)
Pack my bag
Get baby clothes (and bath etc) down from the loft and wash white things as not sure if im having a boy/girl.
Sort things around the house that need doing (as im not expecting to have much time on my hands with 2 lo's!)

How about you guys?

:D

My list now is....

Do assignment
Do assignment
Do assignment
Do assignment

I did have...

Buy cards presents etc for all up-coming things such as B-days, events
Make sure bed has clean sheets
Have a wax
Make sure room is fully organised

I have a habit of making long to do lists in my head constantly, the only thing i've left now if my uni work! It's not a good thing as all my energy wants to go in to making cakes and playing with baby stuff, not uni.

Oooh I love lists :)

I need to finish painting the nursery, fit blind and find curtains
Order carpet (DH to fit carpet)
We need to tile the bathroom
Buy bathing stuff and bedding for LO
Buy chest of drawers
Wash little clothes
Buy and pack stuff for hospital bag

Ummm... *thinks*

-Pack hospital bag, need to get my butt in gear with that! hehe
-Finish my birth plan!
-Buy thank you notelets to send to everyone.
-Learn how to work my pram!
-R-E-L-A-X!!

hope you dont mind me jumping in, but ive been meaning to write a list for a week or so, so i may as well do it in here!!

for me, i have loads to do
were in the middle of changing the bedrooms round (we have 4 bedrooms and need to move the master bedroom down to the middle floor and oliver into our old room and the snakes into the small bedroom)

i have to go though about 10 boxes of clothes that the boys have grown out of. i also need to get rid of a lot of the small clothes that oliver has grown out of and reduce that number down cause we have LOADS.

i also need to buy lots of girls clothes, as everything we have is blue!

i need to get a hospital bag, pack it. buy nappies and all the other usual newborn essentials!!!

and i need to rest!!!

Hmm.. I have loads to do.

Need to buy buggy and carseat.
Take buggy to Vauxhall dealership and check which of the models we want it will fit in.
Buy autotrader and get new car.
Buy dog harness for riding in the car and make him wear it when we get the new car.
Paint sand bit on already blue nursery walls and put up undersea wall stickers.
Buy Moses basket.
Buy cotbed (and possibly baby wardrobe).
Buy bedding.
Play baby crying noises to dog to prepare him.
Buy stuff for hospital bag and pack it.
Attend antenatal classes and try not to freak out at the birth video.
Visit Hospital on Tour.
Wash baby clothes.
Buy baby bath and organic baby products.
Buy bouncer off ebay.
Get baby gym.
Debate whether to get bottle sterilizer now or later.
Buy some nappies and other changing stuff.
Write a birth plan.

I think I am missing stuff too  Damn OH for making me wait to buy stuff!

need to move the master bedroom down to the middle floor and oliver into our old room and the snakes into the small bedroom

That really made me giggle!!! :rotfl: We've got 4 bedrooms too but unfortunately OH needs a study for all his computers and music equipment so bubs will be sharing with Rose once out of our room (until we either move or can afford an outside study). We have a giant African snail living in our study!!! It is absolutely revoluting - ha ha!! :rotfl:

I have done most of my list but remaining is:

Have drawers delivered and put baby clothes in them
Clean the kitchen/floors
Move Daisy into Rosie's room (my Mum uses Daisy's bed when she stays)
Finish packing hospital bag
Reply to all my outstanding emails

A couple of weeks ago it was pretty much the same as everyone elses!!! Washed the clothes, got the stuff from the loft, bought most things I need (am waiting to see if I get any money to put towards a new pushchair!!!)

Clean my carpets.

I have been saying for 6 weeks that I'm going to do it and tomorrow is the day. My friend wants to borrow the carpet cleaner so I promised she can have it friday so I've got to do it tomorrow and Thursday.

Guide my OH through bankruptcy and get him moved into rented accomodation, so that i can move in with him and we can be a family again.

Make and save as much £££ as possible

Mentally prepare for labour and giving birth

Break the news to my mum that i dont want her there at the birth
Tell her that i took the pushchair she bought back and bought another one

Oh! and get OH to shave me 'down there!'

I've still got loads to do but friday is my last day at work and then all this stuff gets sorted....so great time to start this thread!

1. write to do list ....here goes.....

Get carpet delivered for nursery
Get wardrobes delivered and put up in nursery
Put up black out blind
Get all baby stuff bought so far out of the loft and work out what I still need

Rearrange all the furniture in the house (nesting)
A few more things to buy including nappies (or our baby will be potty training at one week of age)
Put stuff on ebay and amazon to make some money and free up space

Hope baby doesn't come early because everything is so last minute

I finished work on Friday and was looking forward to relaxing but keep thinking of things to do! I'm spending this week in Norfolk at my mum's & they're buying the cot which they'll bring down in a couple of weeks. When I get back I need to:

Pack hopsital bag

Buy baby room thermometer

Buy new rug and pictures for living room (we've recently moved and haven't got round to finishing touches yet)

Meet up with lots of people! I want to see friends before he arrives but everyone lives quite far so I need to arrange things beforehand

Sleep

Clean house (am developing a cleaning OCD lol)

Go to antenatal classes

Umm..I'm sure there's more!

is anyone going to stock up on homemade / frozen meals etc like all the books recommend?? Am thinking not to bother as we live in the town centre with easy access to shops etc.........

I wont, but thats because my mum will still make food, and even if i wasnt around them Dave would happily make me sandwiches for during the day and cook something simple on an evening.

WHat does bother me though is somehow forcing myself to eat healthier, i used to not eat meals but just snack on chocolate and crisps all day and theres no way i'll get away with that once she's here, and if i try chances are i'll put on a ton of weight. I must get strict with myself lol.

I was going to freeze some homemade Bolognaise and get in a few microwave meals. Luckily my DH is quite domesticated and is able to put a meal together and find his way around a supermarket so not going to panic to much.

I have so much still to do but no energy now

Pack hospital bag
Put new lino in the kitchen
Hire the carpet cleaner from work and clean carpets
Set up the crib
Finish painting the garden walls
Sort out baby clothes
Make sure all bills are up to date
Make sure all baby stuff is stocked up
Take Aaron's old clothes to the charity shop

I'll probably think of more
