hi ladies hoping for your excellent advice again :)

our hoover is rubbish. its a goblin aztec.

i want a new hoover. ive always liked the look of the dysons, but they seem to break down alot :?

i need one with a powerful suck  , good at picking up dog hairs, and preferably bagless.

any thoughts?

i like dyson hoovers

there expensive tho but you don't have to buy bags for them which is what i like :)

My dyson's never broken down. And picks up cat hairs no problem. I honestly don't know what I'd do without it!

My dyson's never broken down either, they're the best :D

I had a Dyson....blooming useless thing it was.
I've gone back to a good old fashioned pull along "Henry" it's fantastic and so much lighter/easier to push around and do the stairs etc.

i had a dyson but found it far too heavy! got a vax thingy now and will prolly get a henry again when the vax goes..

The dyson dCO8 Animal. Its specially design for animal hair. I've got one and its the nuts! Tesco direct are currently selling with £50 off

We have a Dyson too, got it as a wedding present from DH's parents last year.

It really is great, but yeah it is heavy...good excuse for my DH to do the hoovering!!! :D

I had a dyson animal but it was rubbish we've recently bought a vax one from Argos and its excellent its got a really powerful suck and doesn't need a bag. We have a little doggie and its excellent for picking up hair.

Im with the dyson brigade im afraid ive had mine for 6 yrs now and its still as good!!!!!!!

We had a dyson and thought it was rubbish, like the others have already said found it really heavy.
We now have a vax which is really good but needs a bag!!

I hated my dyson with a passion, it was always breaking down. I have a VAX now. I only need the hoover for the landing and our bedroom as the rest of the house has wooden floors.

I have a dyson and it's fine. We've had it years and although it's broken a couple of times there's ALWAYS a local shop you can take it to to get fixed and it's always been cheap.

I THINK THE BEST HOOVER I HAVE EVER HAD IS AN ELECTROLUX POWERGLIDER ITS AMAZING!! I WENT THRU 2 DYSONS TO FIND THIS AND THIS ONLY COST ME £99 IT IS FANTASTIC I COULDNT SING ITS PRAISES ENOUGH :D

i'm on my 3rd Dyson in 8 years  i don't think i look after them properly!
mine always loose suction after a while.
i have the DC15 All Floors coz i have wooden flooring in places.

DYSON!!!! We bought ours over 3 years ago, and its still in great working order.........remember to clean/ change the filters regularly as not doing that will effect their efficiency, and we've changed the belt bit on the bottom twice.

We have let properties to tenants who have been provided Dysons by their Landlord, and when they complain they are broken, we generally find it is just the belt that needs changing....think it costs about £5 for 2 replacement belts from Comet, and takes about 5 minutes to change (very easily too!)

:cheer:

thanks ladies :)

im now fairly certain i do want a dyson.

but there so expensive :(
ill have a look for a second hand one i think

we have a dyson animal and a cheapo tesco one i can not tell u how much better the dyson is
