What formula do you use for your small baby?

I used sma when Charlie was born, after a week he was quite constipated and the midwife told me Aptamil was the best formula and this is what the babies in the special care unit are fed on at our maternity hospital. I changed him and and no upset stomachs or anything and the constipation went too. I would thoroughly recommend aptamil

Not all babies are the same, some babies might get tummy upset, thats why i mentioned it just incase

It was the midwife who told me that you just swap it and dont try and change it gradually. She explained that the things in the milk that would upset the stomach are the same in each formula.

I didnt say anything about changing formula gradually

I have been using SMA because thats what my mum fed me and my brother on all those years ago :rotfl:

They did offer a choice in hospital, but I just went for SMA as most people I know use it. I would change if I had any problems but none as yet :)

changed to cow and gate comfort today and already had an extra poo!! (jack normaly does one solid poo in the morning and thats it!) hoping it does help him settle more!!

I have used Farley's first milk with all my girls and it has been great :D xx
