What formula do you use for your small baby?

Just thought it would be interesting to see which formula most of us use on our small babies (0-3)

Im using SMA Gold at the moment and have done since birth and Zac seems pretty happy on it

I'm using SMA as well, Sophie seems to enjoy it that's for sure!

I am using two formulas. I am using cow and gate (green one) in the day and SMA Staydown in the evening as she gets really bad reflux in the evening and cant keep the cow and gate down. The new one is working a treat for the reflux.

Harry loved SMA gold, its meant to be alot sweeter than the other milks, but it gave him constipation too so he's on Cow & Gate 1 now

we started on Aptamil,but swapped tosma gold. she seems to perfer it....

We started on SMA gold but Stanley was constipated so we switched to Cow and Gate Comfort at about 3 weeks (he had reflux too) and he's always been more settled

Just give him a different milk, he will 9/10 have aan upset tummy for 1-2days because his tummy needs to get uesd to the change, just make sure you keep him well hydrated, maybe an oz of water and it should be ok, if it lasts more than that then that milk doesnt agree with him. Me & my OH looked up a website (cant find the url now) about reviews on milk & the best two were Aptimil (always sold out down here) & Cow & Gate.
If in doubt speak to your HV!

thanks for the reply princess puddles. i have been thinking about changing to a different milk for a while now as i have a feeling it could be the reason jack is so unsettled. still a bit worried that it will make him worse but guess i dont no unless i try! will go and buy some cow and gate tomorrow

I used sma when Charlie was born, after a week he was quite constipated and the midwife told me Aptamil was the best formula and this is what the babies in the special care unit are fed on at our maternity hospital. I changed him and and no upset stomachs or anything and the constipation went too. I would thoroughly recommend aptamil

Not all babies are the same, some babies might get tummy upset, thats why i mentioned it just incase

do you mean one bottle of sma, then the next cow and gate? not sure if you mean half of one and half of the other in one bottle cos i wouldnt think u could do this?
