im a med sec/receptionist/basic acountant for a private medical company that specialises in chinese medicine, acupuncture, cupping, food tolerance and all that oh and we do colonic hydrotherapy :puke:

I'm a Commercial Account Handler for an Insurance Brokers in Leeds... I handle enquiries, talk to insurers and clients, usually deal with the cases with premiums between £1,000 and £10,000. It's nearly as boring as it sounds...

Just something I fell into after I dropped out of uni, it was the first interview I went to and I got offered the job, now 2 years on I'm still here!

I'm thinking about possibly going back to Uni next year to study midwifery, I want to spend as much time with the baby as possible, which wouldn't be possible staying doing what I'm doing at the moment.

I'm a hospital social worker, supposed to be a diabetes ward but it can be anything like a lot of people with alcohol problems. Been qualified 7 years and will more than likely stay in the profession for many years to come.

I'm also a cardmaker/artist and make to donate to charity and often have me mug in craft mags.

at the moment I'm just a SAHM. I was in uni when I became pregnant with Lydia, and with it being a French course I was doing, it meant that I would have to live in France for a year, which is now impossible.
I thought about switching courses and doing Classics, but if I'm honest with myself it's only something I'd be settling for, not something I really WANT to do, so for the time being I'm just taking some time to spend with Lydia and hopefully when I get a BFP I'll be a SAHM to the both of them ;) Then maybe when they're a bit older I'll look into a career or perhaps uni again.

update...I've decided to do the Classics after all, with French as an elective subject. At least it's something positive to work towards. I'm not stopping TTC though. If I get pregnant I'll just take some more time out of uni.

How have I missed this post!!

Well I used to be a graphic designer (so is OH) for a publishing house and did property development on the side. As a result I dont need to work now as have non-existant mortgage, So OH works and I am a 'lady of leisure' :D I also study at home with the OU for a degree in Philosophy and Sociology, so once we have finished having kids and they are in school I can go on to become a teacher. And I have just started working 2 nights a week in a local pub for a bit of pocket money.

Thats it really a bit boring but it keeps me happy sitting on my arse on computer, playing with Noah and cooking and stuff.

I can't remember if i posted in here, but i'll do it again!

I'm a Business Information Officer

Well I work part-time in a factory because the money is superb...I am a trained nurse, and was half way through becoming a Health Visitor and is soemthing i may pick up again when I have finished my mortgage. Not into fancy job titles but suppose you could say that the other job I do sometimes is called a Mental Health Officer,is where you assess people with learning disabilities, for independent living (supported with key worker) and to help empower their lives..

Am very into helping people with learning disabilities coudl say is a HUGE passion of mine to have them on an equal level to "Normal" people (wtf is normal anyway)

Sorry rambling away here

That's something i;ve always wanted to get into Bexxie, i did my work experince at a special needs school, also went to college and did my placement at a special needs school. I think once i;ve had the LO, i might try and get a job in that sector as i've always wanted to work in that line of work.

I'm a 3rd year student nurse. I qualify this September (providing I pass my exams!). I used to work in neuro operating theatres (where they do the brain surgery) and have applied to work there again when I qualify. Would like to be a scrub nurse - thats the one who passes the instruments during operations (like on Holby City)!

UPDATE! As you all know, I passed my finals and recently qualified. I went for an interview yesterday for a job in neuro theatres and just found out 2 hours ago that I got the job! I'm going to be a staff nurse or theatre practitioner working in neuro radiology, scrubbing in to do angiography and aneurysm coiling!

I'm so excited and chuffed! Yay! :cheer:
