I couldn't cope without a CHANGING UNIT!!!!

OMG it is a Godsend.

I had stitches after the birth and it was so painful to put Dylan on the floor changing mat we had bought for him. My aunty gave me her changing unit and i wouldn't be without it.

I keep all his nappies and other stuff for changing him, a pile of spare vests, a pile of sleepsuits, towels and bath stuff.

It's in the lounge so we have near enough everything to hand when we bath, change and dress him (for bed).

I couldn't recommend one enough

I agree hun :D
I wasn't going to get one as so many people told me I wouldn't use it. By chance I saw one on ebay which matched my furniture for £25 (which my lil bro got me!) I absolutely love it and have used it many times a day since Dan was born. It's great for top to toe washes and getting dried and dressed after a bath. I keep loads of stuff on it to. One of my best buys!

Honestly I dont think I could have coped without chocolate in the first few days!

I also made lots of meals stuff like lasagne, spag bol, chilli and froze them all so at mealtimes all hubby needed to do was get stuff out of freezer and heat up. I also got in a few fresh pizzas and froze them.

Lansinoh nipple cream was a godsend so would recommend if you are breastfeeding.

Baby chair/rocker was a godsend too, I used to put Maia in all the time while she slept and then I could just curl up on teh sofa and sleep next to her. We had this one http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.as...ruActiveBabyRockersBouncers/711209?ref=Search
