What breed of dog do you prefer and why?

I have a male staff called Butch who I have had since he was under a year old. Hes 9 feb coming and I love him to bits. Hes my boy and has been through everything together. He lives with my Mam and Dad now cause when I moved in with lee he already had bob... a boxer and it wasnt fair and too much of a handful having them both together.... Id love to have him back now but my rents wont give him back anyway

so we also have bob the boxer who lee had since he was afew months old and hes mint but bloody loopy!

love them both

I have two Rottweilers.

We got the bitch first, then the lad. The bitch was going to be spayed and we got the lad when the bitch stopped season. But unbloodyfortunately for us, she was still 'sexually active' or whatever you wish to call it, and now she's about to drop a litter. I feel really bad for her as its our fault for being irresponsible, but my dad bred German Shepherds, so I know what to do with the pups. It will be very hard to say goodbye, but I'm sure I will manage. I would never have bred her on purpose, but its happened. She will be a good mommy.

Although due to me being pregnant, we are getting rid of our lad dog. The in-laws said last night "oh, good idea, you don't want him eating the baby". That wasn't even the reason for getting rid of him. Our house wouldn't be big enough for a baby and two dogs. I won't be able to walk them soon, and OH won't be able to manage it alone. We chose to get rid of him as we got him last. He's pretty adaptable to change, he's a fantastic dog, I just hope no non-hopers come and get him, cos I won't be selling him to them.

The dogs in general are both lovely, loving dogs. The lad is more boisterious then the girl and they love going for runs on the field and play fighting in the garden.

I'm going to miss my Reuben.

Oh no i cant believe your getting rid of him thats so sad :(

I think its the hardest decision I've ever made :wall: He's more my dog too, a bit of a ladies man he is, and OH is sad, but accepts it as its what we've got to do for our little growing family. Whereas I just feel guilty :shakehead:
