Reading all your posts on the forum, I read them in my accent, so was wondering what accent do you really have?

Mine is a Northern Irish one, although it isn't very strong as I lived in England for 8 years, and my husband is English so his accent has rubbed off on me.

Like lauren in Catherine Tate
ahaha
It's funny as I am actually from a posh family lolzz

Sort of scouse...but I tend to put on a posh phone voice in work . born in Liverpool, but living across the Mersey, it tends to be a bit less scouse than in Liverpool...

When people hear me, they always say "Ah, a scouser hey?"

Zoe....my DH is from Wirral, so I know what you mean although his accent doesn't show until we go back to visit. I love the wirral accent, so much softer than scouse!

I'm a brummie......again my accent isn't so strong until I talk to my family :rotfl: or I'm very cross, or very happy

I am from Cheltenham originally so I used to have pretty standard Recieved Pronounication (very posh sounding...but not...honest :D ) with some west country twang from time to time.

I have been with my geordie OH near Newcastle for 10 years and people at home tell me that I now have a definate geordie twang to my accent. When I listen to myself, they are right..

Can still put on a stonker of a posh accent for phone calls though :cheer:

typical rover'am lass me self, i dont talk posh at all :D

cockney saaaaaaaaaaarf london lol!!!
think Stacey off eastenders!!!!! :rotfl:

Hiya

I like to think i don't have an accent  although i live on the ISle of Man so i have a Manx one which supposidly sound kinda scouse but not as harsh if you know what i mean :?

mines a bit strange. Im from wales, but I dont sound welsh. My mum is from Leeds... most people think im northan :|

I'm a Brummie but used to live up north so it's a bit mixed up until I get with me sisters! then it's just brummie all over!

i sound common. most of my family live in or around london, so ive picked up a lot of how i speak from them. But i put on a funny phone voice. i hate my phone voice
