Well ICSI it is for us, referral has been made

Hubby had his urology appt. he believes the trauma he had to his testicles as a young boy combined with a couple large varicoceles is why his sperm count is so low. He is to get a scan done on testicles at end of month to confirm the status of the varicoceles and they may offer to do surgery to remove these. The surgery prob won't raise his sperm count much as the damage is already been done but the doc did say he's got nothing to lose by having the op. mean time we have been referred for ISCI as he said it would be a miracle if we managed to conceive naturally . Good news is tho that the waiting list is around a year in my area which isn't too bad xxx

Was wondering how you was getting on Yvonne. Sorry to hear the news wasnt the best but its always good to knwo where you stand... 1 year isnt too bad really will soon fly wont it, how many chances do you get in your area? How are you both dealing with it now? We are 2 weeks away from our next appointment and then when AF shows up after that its all systems go for the FET xx

Sorry to hear that you need ICSI but at least you are on the waiting list. Me and my oh are having ICSI IVF at the moment and EC is on Monday.

Sorry to hear that they've said you won't be able to conceive naturally. It is good news about the ICSI though, it is amazing what they can do these days so it is something to be positive about that you're on the list xxx

Hi chick yeh it feels good to have the ball rolling I'm going to busy myself this next year with home improvements and a few wee mini breaks to take our minds of it all. I'm doing ok hubby has been a bit tearful feels like he's failed me which is nonsense it doesn't matter that it's him or me we r both in it together! We get 3 free cycles in our area which is fab too! Oh chick I've everything crossed for ur FET cycle!! I love hearing of successful IVF/ICSI stories!! Xxx

Yeh I kinda knew it prob couldn't happen naturally but it was stil a bit hard to hear from the specialist. But hey ho I'm def feeling positive about the ICSI and just feel so lucky that these types treat,ends r available these days! Xxx
