weak cervix

how do you know, or whats the symptoms of you having a weak cervix?
are there any? can a nurse examin you and find out? - does it show up in a scan?

im just woundering as i have this very watery bleed thats happend 3 times in about 2 weeks (tiny tiny amount) and i wasdthinking could this be a sign?

i know the babys ok as i han hear his heart beat and im now awear of him moving (i think!) lol.

First of all, if you are worried speak to your midwife or phone the hospital and ask to speak to the early labour ward.

My sister went into labour at 20 and 24 weeks and they still do not know if she has a weak cervix as they have done no checks. Its not usually something your midwife will recommend unless you have had previous losses as it involves having "internal scans" where they can fully check the opening of the cervix and offer you a stitch xx
 
I got told mine was softer and shorter, after they did internal exam
