Tbh I think I greatly overestimated my pain threshold when planning a water birth, I probably wouldn’t have been able to handle the pain of a natural birth anyway! Though they say labour is more painful if you’re induced so who knows.

Are you trying to have a water birth this time around then?

I had a home water birth and it was AMAZING! I had a little tear at the front and a tear at the back and needed a few stitches but my baby was 9lb. The water was so relaxing and I didn't even feel any ring of fire as baby crowned and I think it was due to being supple in the water. I loved it and it was so much more relaxing than my first hospital birth x
