Walking Questions

Bethany is nearly 11 months old and shes crawling around everywhere pulling herself up on the sofa and furniture and walking along it etc is their anything we can do to encourage her to walk or is it just wait and see ???

My sonw as a late crawler and hated being on his feet until he was just over 11months. When he took an interest in being on his feet, me and OH would sit on the floor, stand him up and let him walk or in most cases dive between each of us. It wasnt long before he took a couple steps then would fall, then gradually more and more as we played. Think it was a great way to teach him as he thought it was a game. He started walking unaided last week so it only took about 8 weeks from not even crawling to walking unaided.

lelands been confident cruising since 8/9 months but only this week will stand un aided and has took his first un aided steps !
