I swear someone has cursed me or something....overnight, it seems, I've developed piles

I've been very good, not straining or anything (told you it was tmi!) but they're hanging there, aren't going anywhere and are so painful I could actually cry

Does anyone have tips? I'll try ANYTHING....I'm at the end of my tether :(

Thanks

Aw I'm soooo sorry you've got these! Touch wood I've never had piles so no advice, just lots and lots of sympathy x

only time mine used to hurt is when i had inny ones that popped out used to have to pop then back up where they belonged sorry tmi but they hurt like hell when they come out

I got them during my first labour then at the end of the next 2 pregnancies. I use regular over the counter cream and pessaries but my MW who had them herself, said cypress and lavender oils in a carrier like sweet almond applied directly is the best thing and better than and medicated stuff :)

Thank you Mervs Mum, I'm willing to try anything at the moment, it's making me so miserable :(

 I'll get you the recipe - the mw wrote it on my notes....

I feel for you! I developed some really bad ones in labour last time, they did go after a couple of months but I have them now I'm expecting again. I found hot baths helped and using prescribed cream very often.

Hope you can get them sorted.

Not nice at all

xx

Thanks Sal88, everything is much better today, still painful but bearable now. I was pretty desperate on Saturday, couldn't think of anything except the pain and was in tears by the afternoon. I couldn't see an emergency doctor either which didn't help! Have been pretty much what you suggested so fingers crossed I'm over the worst now (until labour anyway, as if we don't have enough to worry about lol!!)

Oh you poor thing!!! I would go with the essential oils definitely! Good luck xxx
