is anyone else who is totally shattered all the time even when they do nothing?
i only work weekends so im pretty much free all week, i do take my dogs for a walk but thats about it really unless i go shopping or im out with friends, appointments ect...
but ive been having about three naps a day recently and they can be up to three/four hours at a time!
just would like to know if this is normal or is my body trying to tell me something haha?

Sounds pretty normal to me  I was the same when I was around 16 weeks.. I found the further on I got the more energy I got.. And then even further on I slowed wayy back down lol it is possible that you could be low in iron but you are usually advised at your 20 week scan to start taking supplements to keep your levels up :) xx

my midwife tald me last friday that my iron levels are fantastic but you know how up and down things like that are hah, i will be eating lots more iron rich foods and cut out the tea !!

Yeah I think it's best to keep the iron intake as high as you can, mine was spot on until I hit 30 weeks now I'm on a double dose :puke: Roll on February I say

awww it must be so exciting for you!
i know i have the best part of five months to go but i just cant wait haha
but yes a lot more cucumber sarnies on wholemeal bread for me !

It will fly by :D Honestly, you will wake up one day with a huge bump and think to yourself.. "where the hell did that come from"

Eggs, cereals and red meat have a good source of iron too :) I guess every little helps

bloomin' cant wait, i tell 'ya!
ooh yes, i had scrambled eggs yesterday for the first time in ages, since becoming pregnant ive been eating so much more of a variety of foods than before!

I'm still shattered all the time :( I have a 7 month old, a 7 year old and a useless OH to look after and i'm working full time. As soon as the kids are in bed, i hit the sack myself. Feels like all i do is graft xx

I'm shattered all the time and not even pregnant yet

I have a stage been about 20 weeks and 35 where I had loads of energy and felt great

Toonlass you poor thing - sending you a big H-A-N-D to help you out - you sound as if you need one :) :wash: :hang: :iron: :dish: so you can

Thanks rosie's mummy  Sad as it is, i have just got the kids off to bed so now i'm off for the night. I'll leave my OH to play his xbox, same as he has been doing all day then he has the cheek to tell me HE is tired!! I mean he did have a job interview today like, that hour must have really took it out of him!! Lazy tw@t!!

Sorry to hijack the thread with my moaning lol but i feel better now thats off my chest  xx

ohhh toonlass big hug for you!
i feel like a shouldnt even been moaning about my tiredness now haha!
xx
