Hi after increasing nausea this week I was finally sick this morning. However ever since then I have had sevre upper abdominal pains, in the centre just under my ribs. I called nhs direct who said I need to see a doctor within the next two hours, I have an appointment booked in an hour and a half. I'm really worried has anyone else ever experienced anything like this before? X

Gallstones sounds like I got diagnosed 2 months after my daughter was born it's severe abdominal pain like u can't breathe kind of pain does that sound like it?

I've already had my gallbladder out a few years a go. The pain is very similar, everytime I breathe or move.

The dr said he thinks I have pulled a muscle throwing up. It feels like I've ripped in two!!! In pain everytime I move. Thankfully I haven't been sick again since, don't think my body could cope with it. X

Oh hun. I once tore a muscle in my ribs ... coughing :fib:  it was horrible and so painful I really feel for you I was on so much painkillers I was in the clouds obviously you can't do that when preg.

Nope no painkillers it's awful. I'm ok sitting still but as soon as lie down it gets worse. Feel exhausted, haven't really slept much. Not looking forward to work tomorrow. Feeling very sorry for myself. X

Can you not call in sick is it a physical job or a sit down job?

I've already had time off I'm worried they are starting to get fed up with me. I can be quite physical but should be able to take it easy. I'm hoping if they see how much I'm struggling they will understand a little better. X

Hmm. They can't hold anything aginst you whilst pregnant I'm fairly sure pulling a muscle through morning sickness counts as a pregnancy illness . Don't over push yourself or you will end up where I am in hospital lol. It's boring!

The pain is getting so much worse, not sure weather I should go to hospital or not. Just taken some paracetamol will see how that goes. Don't want to go sit in A&e for hours if I don't need to.

Bless you eryinera sounds like your having a rough time x

Decided to go to the hospital, they were super busy, thankfully I didn't have to wait long. But the doctor came in and saw me for less than a minuet, touched my tummy over my jumper, said it's gastritis and sent me on my way. I don't feel acidy and it's not effected by food, I feel like I was rushed out of there and she wasn't interested.

I feel done in right now, I truly had no idea pregnancy could be this hard!!! It's all I've wanted for years and I feel so upset that I am struggling this much!!

I know hun. I'm the same I wanted a second child for around 6 years now ones cooking I have spd and a heart and breathing problem and I'm stuck in hospital. And newly aquired in last hour when I cough my foot goes tingly lol. It will be worth it gone through so much bubs better be bloody in there and well not going through this for nothing please!

That sounds terrifying Hun! Wishing you a speedy recovery and hope you don't have to stay in to long.
